Makes you wonder about all the "clunkers" replaced by cars w/GPS :o

Nope. I stopped getting the regular flu shot a couple years ago.

?
are you?

are you?
I don't plan to. I suppose plans could change but I've never had a flu shot before.
How about you?

kinda undecided as of yet.
may have to due to policies at work, not saying it's bad thing to do or anything. should know in the next few weeks.
however, I've started to take small preventive measures to avoid getting sick.
such as frequent use of alco gel after washing my hands et al.

not sure about the risk factors involved. I will NOT underestimate the threat, however, and take preventative measures as mentioned above. I think an education campaign would serve well... I don't think people realise how quickly disease can spread in this day and age.

don't forget gyms are one of the best places to pick up a cold or flu. adopt a policy of never touching your face in the gym. Use the back of your hand if you have to itch your nose or something. wash your hands when you're done working out. I wouldn't worry to much about this pig flu, you have a better chance of getting killed in a car accident. by most accounts this is mild for a flu and apparently if you're white, you have even less to worry about. lol

we've had one fatal case here in Sweden so far.
maybe 50 cases in total?
many people are becoming much more careful about cleaning and stuff. So perhaps there is some upside to this in that overall sanity improves. a bigger problem is apparently resistant bacteria.

I keep some of that gel in my car. I'll use it after being in public (grocery store...touching their pen to sign credit card receipt, etc) but also try to wash my hands when I get home.

My w/o partner and I have been sticklers for not touching our faces and washing hands after a w/o for years at they gym...for sure ever since seeing a guy put his hands down the front of his pants in the weight room. Think of all the e-coli and stuff on weights/machines as well as viruses :P
Other stuff to think about:
Escalator handrails
Elevator buttons
Door handles
Money
Public pens
Grocery cart handles
Etc etc..
