Elite amatuer, pro and hardcore bodybuilders use drugs...doah ( yeah big news flash hehe).
What has always pissed me off, is how so many pro wanna be types keep useing "drugs" as excuse as to why they can't make gains. I am so damn sick and tired of hearing some geek complain they could go pro if they got on the right stuff. Here is my idea:
1. If drugs really are the main factor, then fine, do whatever it takes to get whatever drugs you need ,go pro and win the Olympia. ::)
2. Realize FINALLY that while drugs help, they won't make 99.9% of us ( me included) a top pro, no matter what we took.
Enjoy YOUR training, admire the pro physique and compete on the level you fit in at.

Agreed for the most part, but, some people do in fact respond very well to drugs while it may do very little for another.

I know that, but my pt is, that drugs alone are not the end all/be all reason for success in this sport, like some want to claim.

What if I don't want to die at 40? What if I want to participate in a real sport?

While drugs will not turn a person into Ronnie who does not have his genetics, Ronnie would NOT look like Ronnie if he did not use the amount of drugs he did. Drugs play a HUGE role and DO make Ronnie look like Ronnie, they just won't necessarily make anyone else look like Ronnie.
PS - who bumped up a three year old thread?
