Who do you feel of these 3, was the best bodybuilder?
-
Dorian
-
Flex had the most potential. Shawn had the strong mind and Kevin had the biggest sock in his posing trunks.

You and Shawn like the same type of feMALE :D
And this comparrison is a hard one , It would be between flex and kevin imo , Shawn though one of the greats was to blocky looking

LOL, Wiggs really gives his bodybuilders the once over.
BTW, I heard that Kai was thinking of appointing you his sock manager
-
Shawn was the smartest and got the most out of the sport.
Career achievements wise i would go for kevin.
Flex got the most potential but didn't live up to it.
All standing on stage at their absolute best--------Flex Wheeler wins
-
Flex Wheeler, at his absolute best, should of won the Olympia. The Sultan of Symmetry was one of the most impressive bodybuilders at one time.
Shawn Ray maintained the longest reign in the top 5 at the O, I think 13 years.
Kevin Levrone was 2nd 4 times at the Olympia.
Eech one was at one time better than the other, but Kevin wins in the longevity arena.

And then there is Chris Cormier, lots of potential, but achieved 2nd at the arnold 3 or 4 times ;D
-
As for the absolute best, Flex>Levrone>Ray
Shawn competed the least and concentrated on the Olympia mostly throughout his career. Kevin lasted the longest and competed the most with only a couple of times out of the top 5. IMO, most impressive in terms of stats and placings out of the 3.
-

Chris Cormier wasn't a threat, nor was Vince Taylor.
That being said, those 2 were also exceptional bodybuilders.

Actually 6 times... ;D

What's your problem with his posing trunk? ???
Anyway, Kevin is my personal favorite and I really like Flex's physique too but I think that Shawn was the most complete.

True, Shawn's physique was the most consistent. Kev and Flex both went downhill, and Kev lost his legs a long the way.
-
I my book, Kevin was the best of these three bodybuilding wise, but also he didn't do all that dumb shit like Flex did as in the ninja attack/carjack lie. + Shawn is a snitch for the DEA so he get's none of my respect either, also of the three Kevin was the most constant with his condition and also trained the hardest.
-
Actually 6 times... ;D
Damn, 6 times, ;D clearly I think he is much better than Vic.

That's true that Shawn's physique was the most consistent But Kevin still beat Shawn everytime after 1997 and had more succesful carrier and Olympia record and Shawn won Flex last time 1996.
I think Shawn is the easiest one to single out and the battle between the best non-Olympia winner should be between Flex and Kevin. Gotta go with the boy from Fresno.
-

Actually Chris owns the distintion of being a 6 time runner up for the Arnold Classic
-

Chris actually was a six-time runner-up at the Arnold Classic!

OKay Ron....Time to grow a set ;D
Nasser or Kevin? ;D ;D

One of the toughest calls to make comparing those three IMO.
-

1st bodybuilding mag I have every had was a Ironman from 1994. In it it had that first photo of Shawn Ray, and talked about who was in the running for the 1994 Mr. O. they said Flex was out. I was like, "who the hell is Flex?" They had a article with a closeup of Flex, and in the back they showed Maike Matarazzo licking Flex's bald head for good luck (first time Flex was bald). I'm still like, "who the hell is Flex?"
Then way in the back of the mag, they had a ad for the 1993 USA's ( anybody remember that ad) and they showed Flex Wheeler, I was like, "WTF I want to look like that!" After that, I have been biased towards Flex.

hate to say this but i agree with the boss

So how many times was Chris a runner-up in the AC?
;D

Six straight years.
People who say Flex should've won an Olympia. Physique wise he definitely deserved to but if you think about the years he was runner up. 1993, 1998, 1999 he lost to the better one. He had bad luck to compete against the legendary conditions of Coleman&Yates.

Flex Wheeler is the best no discussion needed

The Mr Olympia title became a huge fraud the moment guys like Kevin levrone which should have win the title each time he got second place. it's glad to see that they're starting to give guys what's due to them
-
Kevin had the most mass.
Shawn was the most complete.
Flex had the best symmetry.
-
Mr. Levrone by a landslide

Right Flex could have won the Olympia but didn't deserve to .
Flex wheeler 1993 Ironman 1993 Arnold Classic could beat anyone including Yates & Ronnie . Flex is one of the most exceptional bodybuilders of all time
-
shawn said on their best days flex was better than him. i dont remember any comments on kevin. kev vs flex?
-

I mean can Shawn deny it?
Flex on Nasser and Kevin
Nasser - overrated
Kevin - way overrated
but Kevin just beat him at the Arnold so he was a tad bitter
-
Well, we do know one thing, Shawn, Kevin, and Flex were all BETTER than Nasser

I agree, at his peak/best, Flex Wheeler was one of the best bber's ever!
-

The "could of/ would of/ should of" error results from the failure of the writer to realise that they've been hearing a spoken contraction using "'ve" for "have", i.e., "could've/ would've/ should've" , and copying the mistake they've seen in print, as parroted by yet another unwitting soul.

his upper body is close to perfect imo.
-
I used to think that Flex was the best, followed by Kevin then Shawn......
but 15 years later its exactly the other way around.

best abs in bodybuilding by far, yesterday and today
-
Kevin>>>>>>Shawn>Flex :)
-
Who cares??
Those three bodybuilders are the BEST ever no matter of their order..
;)
My personal Favorite is Kevin. However, Flex Wheeler 93 look is unbeatable not to mention Shawn’s perfect physique
-
Flex had the lowest bodyfat
in 93 he was down to a ripped 0 percent
-
Shawn, Kevin or Flex? Who was the best?
RE: FLEX
-
Flex most symmetrical
Kevin most muscular
Shawn closest to with the O (94,96&97)
-
Shawn is the only one I like. Flex was an arrogant synthol user and Levrone's body just didn't do it for me. :P
-

Well there is a rumor going around on getbig about this, and it left me quite astonished. I don't remember the details, but I think it was at gold's gym :o

Unfortunately, Flex was never at his best at the Olympia. He had million dollar genetics, with a 10 cent work ethic. To this day, it has to eat at him, what could have been.

When he tuned pro he was on FIRE and then relied on his genetics to much to carry him thorough more to genetics than just physical
-

highly debatable, as he was very narrow.
and Ronnie is right there in terms of quality.
dorian of course, was well behind in terms of quality... :)
-
in terms of physiques at their best,
Flex>shawn>kevin IMO.
-
kevin!

yeah, apparently some guy named Jim Quinn verified it :o
Shawn would have been perfect if he were a couple inches taller.
