Title: Savage fired?
Post by: 240 is Back on September 13, 2009, 08:13:32 PM: Michael Savage, an independent syndicated radio commentator, has been severed from KNEW, the important San Francisco outlet for his Savage Nation. The station issued a terse statement: "Here's your no-spin direct answer; we have decided to go in a different philosophical and ideological direction, featuring more contemporary content and more local information. The Savage Nation does not fit into that vision."

It's a shocker that he lasted as long as he did in San Fran.

I know. I tried listening to him a while back. Just couldn't get into.

In NYC - Levin is destroying him because of content.

Savage just rambles about nonsense lately.

Levin is just on fire and has great content.

Edit: I just checked KNEW's website and it looks like it's true. >:( It's just one station, but he has lots of fans in the Bay area. I hope this doesn't affect his ratings too much.

I listen to Levin's podcast every day. His tribute to September 11, 2001 was superb.
