I struggle for it 15 reps. Many getbigers laugh at me.
I saw Jay does 4 plates each. I saw Paco strived for 20reps of 4plates each.
Branch Warren also show same kind of strength.
In reality, I rarely witness people doing 3plates each of bbing style squat.
So Getbigers are monsters? ;D

If by "ligid bbing style squat" you mean a half squat with feet close together, I can probably do about 50 reps. If you mean an olympic style squat where you actually drop all the way down, I can do 20 reps on a good day.

depends on your bdywt? if your light that's pretty good 200 lbs or over not so much.

I can't bend over in a back squat if I wanted (to help me lift more weight). Too much front squatting does that. ;D

I think squatting 3 plates per side going below parallel is impressive.
Not going below parallel doesn't really impress me as it's very easy to get extremely strong with a limited ROM.

if u can legid squat parallel with pause at bottom 315lbs for 15 reps no getbigger should laugh. u got a vid to prove it?

I can do at least 12. I don't think 3 plates is very impressive if you've been lifting for years.

none of the squats i saw were even to parallel.
315 is still decent if you compare it to everyone else in the gym, even if your not breaking parallel.

315 to parallel for 15 reps is pretty good.
Far beyond average for sure.
I can do 315 below parallel for about 10 reps and I've always been one of the strongest guys in pretty much every gym I entered (except Thor's Gym , Australia)

Front squat is my favorite. Try to learn it. Better than regular squat!

Well, nowadays I don't use big weights during my leg training...but when I used them I did front squats with 350 lbs like it was nothing...and my best was 2x485 deep...but it was very-very heavy... >:( ;D

Dont get me wrong. My question is not a typical fan question.
Just I want to know how much weight is sufficient for your training.
For example, if you ask me about Pacos Back squat.
He is capable of doing 300kg X10 with good depth.
But, He dont do it more than 200kg for training. Cus under 200kg is sufficient for him.
My best is 220kg X 6. But as you see me in the video, I dont do more than 150kg.
So how much weight do you use for your front squat right now?

Very true sir, yet the oly squat is highly superior than the ''legit bb squat''.
Guys like wolf and heath could do quarter reps with 100lbs and still gain in mass though :-X.

Only one thing i dont like his squat is the negative movement. Its too fast!! :o

Right now I didn't start yet training hard and heavy after my contest season...especially for legs which is my strong point. So for legs now I just use machines and some stiff leg deadlift, maybe some walking lunges sometimes.
But I think I won't use more than 180 kg (about 400 lbs) for front squats in the offseason.
Here is one of the episode of the Hungarian Bodybuilding TV show...it started with my leg training...front squats, leg press ect...
I was so angry because we had a limited time (30 min) for the show...and I did that 2x285 front squat...my all time best... Anyway the director had no idea about how big thing that was...and the time was limited, so there was just one rep in the TV about that set... >:( Fuck.

After the contests I started to eat.. ::)..I ended at 235... :-\
Now, 6 weeks after my contests I'm 229.

Of course i know you are one of the favourite under 202 category pro.
Anyway, around 100kg off season bodyweight and training with 180kg FRONT squat is quite amazing.
You are a hard trainee. Respect. 8)

the fact that you actually squat says alot for you. Most people in gyms dont want to do barbell squats because its the most difficult and painful exercise when done correctly.
The fact that you can do 315 for 15 attests to your strength. 315 for 15 is very good. Im guessing your max is around 405-450, when is very good.

Exactly. But I hate to do max becuase of safty and feeling. So i dont have any clue that how much i can lift.

These days I do 2-3 sets of 10 with 315 and it works for me. A couple of years ago when I was more intense and was on a decent amount of gear I would squat up to 550 for 2-4 reps on heavy days and some days I would stop at 405 and rep for 15. One day I was feeling really good and got 405 for 20. All below parallel. At the time I wieghed around 200lbs give or take a few. Those days are over due to injuries and I don't have the desire to compete anymore. What's funny is my legs are about the same size so works for me ;D. I have always referred to a bbing style squat as not below parallel. I always referred to a power lifting/olympic squat as below parallel which is how I was taught.
