Beck: McCain would have been worse than Obama ;D
You can always count on Glenn Beck to say something shocking on the air. In an interview with Katie Couric to air on CBSNews.com this evening, the outspoken television host reveals that he thinks President Obama is better for the country than John McCain would have been. ;D
"I think John McCain would have been worse for the country than Barack Obama," Beck told Couric in the debut episode of her new web show, @katiecouric.
Beck's statement came in response to a question from Couric about Hillary Clinton, who Beck said he may have even voted for had she been the Democratic nominee against John McCain. ;D
"I can't believe I'm saying this," Beck said, "I think I would have much preferred her as president and may have voted for her against John McCain." ;D
When asked to elaborate on his reasoning, Beck described McCain as "this weird progressive like Theodore Roosevelt was."

He's right. McCain would have done whatever the dems wanted and there would hav e been no resistence whatsoever from the right. Additionally, it would have been harder to take back the congress in 2010 with McLame in there.
At least now, a movement is being formed that has a realistic chance to get the congress back and stop cap & Trade, amnesty, etc.
Also, Obama's incompetency gives the GOP a good chance to put a good contender up in 2012 to win.
I agree with Beck knowing what I know now.
-
Ive said it before i probably would have voted for hillary over mccain if she had won the primary
-
hahahaha
another 5 minutes and 33 will be telling us the plan all along was to give 2008 to the dems, to win 2012 hahahahahaa.
-
HA lol... if this is the way you guys feel, no more bitching from righties about me voting for Obama. All you fuckers can just thank me from now on ;D

No, McCain was the updated version of Bob Dole. Its what the GOP does.
Maybe it was 240 knowing the the economy was heading off a cliff and they thought thet could hang it around the dems' necks in 2010 and 2012.
Who the hell knows? All I know is cap & trade needs to be stopped. to me, that is by far the worst, even moreso than health care.

Also, when you guys were on here for 6 months defending mccain and palin... did you ever look in the mirror and think... "Wow, this turd of a candidate only smells a bit better than the turd the dems will run?"

240 - your a fool. Serious, you are like a 12 y/o.
The only reason to vote for McCain INHO was theSC picks and foregin policy. Thats it. I said that millions of times.
-

I confess to doing the same with a few W stickers ;D I never put political stickers on my car. I always thought of them as a, "please key my car" sign.

All of them are only SLIGHTLY better then McCain, with Hukabee being worse!!!!I dont recall EVER defending McCain once.I voted for him because Joe Biden is a fucking moron.By the way,you blast the Palin choice,if it was up to that retard McCain he would have picked Lieberman THE MOST liberal senator on social issues. What a great ticket that would have made.McCain would have gotten 3% of the vote.

Oh, I don't know... maybe how to WIN THE ELECTION.

For all his flaws, I think Obama will turn out to be a pretty decent president.
Will he be the greatest ever?
No. I don't think so. Or rather, I am POSITIVE. He will not be the greatest ever.
But will he ruin USA and the rest of the world?
No way.
He's better than a lot of other candidates.
And I have to admit, that my two own favorites, Giuliani and Edwards, would not have been close to matching Obama. :-[
Obama is no Messiah, but pretty decent.
The hate towards him is really disturbing TBH.
Wouldn't it be enough to be... I don't know, not happy with him? ???

I don't hate Barry personally, just what he stands for, his policies, his agenda, the radicals who surround him, and the nanny state vision he has for all of us.

they would have won with hillary who was far more qualified so why obama? ;) come on you can do it....

I HATE HIM!!!The day he was inagerated he allowed a little racist to stand up there and insult whites. To allow a racist homo like Rev. Lowery to insult whites was enough for me.
-

I wish more would feel like you do.

Personally, I think Obama is a great father and family man. He is a good role model to people.
Its everything else that bugs the crap out of me. Its not personal, its strictly business as Michael Coreleone would put it.
-

Who the fuck is Lowery? what did lowery say EXACTLY?
-
Who the fuck is Lowery? what did lowery say EXACTLY?
Lowery is another in a long line of radical black preachers that Obama likes. He said "Oh,let the white do whats right" in a stupid poem that he was doing.Every other race was praised but when it came to whites it was let the white do whats right.Obama sat thee nodding his head knowingly.
By the way,two weeks after that little dwraf Robert Reich said whites shouldnt get jobs from the stimulous.
Then we have the black panthers thing, gates, sotomyor,it goes on and on.The man HATES whites.
-

At the inaugaration.

He's gonna pull a Michael Steele huh?
-
thanks billy. Lowery seems like an asshole.
Sotomayor remains to be seen. many says she's a qualified judge. so i have to pass on her.
-
At the inaugaration.
Seeing that video infuriates me like few do.I really cant stand that black preacher style of talking. Its even more annoying then the southern white preachers that end every phrase and sentance with "uh"...Jesus uh,is the son of God uh.God is that annoying as hell. But the quivering voice of the black preacher is like nails on a blackboard to me.
-
I can see where Beck is coming from, but voting for McCain was still the right and logical thing to do given the circumstances. Not even I had thought Obama would have been quite this radical, and if he had not been quite this radical but still bad enough to do some damage, he may yet still have had a chance at re-election. You just never know what will happen. Its best to just vote for the guy you think will do best everytime.
-
guys, what were repubs thinking, choosing mccain over rudy, romney and huck?
Dont ask me. Ill never forget that fateful Florida primary. Charlie Christ, Florida's popular but horrible governor, endorsed McCain. That pretty much sealed his victory in Florida, which put him on the road to wining the nomination. Then the rest of the endorsements started flooding in one by one, like a fucking herd mentality. You had Guliani and then Ahhhnold endorsing him after that.
Ok. Im going to describe to you a little nightmare scenario to illustrate how frustruating this was for me. Imagine that you are in a room and you find a video. You pop it into your dvd player, and you see your wife in a living room. You wonder to yourself: Why is my wife on this video? Then you see a guy that you dont know showing up in the video talking to her. You wonder to yourself: Who the fuck is that and why is he talking to my wife?? Then another guy shows up in the video and starts talking to her along with the other guy. YOu think: What the hell? Then another guy you dont know shows up to talk to her. WHAT THE FUCK MAN???!!! Then two or three more guys walk in, one after another, one after another. Then your worst nightmare occurs, and the guys start to gangbang her.
Well, that's exactly how I felt watching these fucking Hoover Republicans endorsing McCain over Romney, one after another. One after another. Because I knew it meant losing the election. We found out who the sellouts in the Republican Party were during that little cycle. Sometimes I wonder who irritates me more - liberals or Country Club Repubilcans.
