Title: Dust storm hits Sydney.
Post by: webcake on September 22, 2009, 11:49:26 PM: It was hot last night, so i slept with the window open. I woke around 6am and thought something smelt a bit funny, open the blind and was surprised that it looked as if the apocalypse was happening.

Never experienced a dust storm before. Pretty weird/interesting. Most of the dust has since blown away now, though everything is still a bit dusty.

Pretty weird, wasn't it.

I normally suffer from pretty bad allergies/hayfever......but luckily the dust didn't seem to bother me too bad. I bet a lot of asthmatics were suffering today though.....

My car was in the garage, yet it still has a light coating of dust all over it. The dust was so fine it just got in everywhere.....
