Fox News reportedly bars media from Glenn Beck event
Fox News host Glenn Beck now has something in common with former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin.
They've barred media from their public appearances. Representatives for Palin, who spoke in China yesterday, refused to allow press at her event, saying they were trying to ensure the governor's "comfort."
A directive from Fox News Channel and Glenn Beck "and his representatives" have instructed a town near Seattle not to let anyone but a single local reporter near an event Saturday for the controversial Fox talker. No press credentials are to be allowed to be issued to anyone else.
The town's mayor -- Bud Norris of Mount Vernon, in Washington State -- told a local newspaper that the directive came from Fox, Beck and his associates, and that he didn't ask for a reason. Beck is speaking at a sold-out event Saturday, "Welcome Home Glenn Beck." Norris organized the fete.

Transparacy?Are you joking?Why do you think he has so many czars?So he can try to keep them from being vetted.What transparacy is there when you hide your records like college transcripts and papers.Please,EVERYONE on the right knows Obama hides EVERYTHING in his past,his mind,his associations etc.The problem he has is that he is transparent in that we already know hes a radical racist.

I agree that a lot attention should be on the president. but it's also important that others are kept honest as well. like media itself.

One thing he CAN SAY FOR SURE is that he gets 3 million people watching his show everyday which is more then SHULTZ,MATHEWS,OLBERMANN AND MADDOW get combined.He doesnt need to exaggerate that fact the way Olbermann tries to claim that his show is starting to catch Oreilly who draws more then MSNBC,CNNN AND HEADLINE NEWS COMBINED.
