Peter Putman is not competing, spoke to him last night, and told him what others have said - that he needs to take some times up and rebuilt.  He is going to do that, perhaps compete next year at the 2010 Tampa Pro 202lbs and under, and then will qualify for the Olympia 202lb and under contest.

Just remember 'athletes' ....its not who finishes first on stage that gets the most prize money ...its the one who lets the schmoes finish on their face who get the real $$$ and you don't have to wait all year for one shot..you can take 'shots' all day everyday ..

What's the story behind that?

I knew a guy once who had one.  He was pretty rough looking and people assumed it was some sort of battle wound....he told me one time that he got it because he was picking his nose while driving and got rear ended and stuck his own finger into his eye.  :-\

Good luck to Branch, Kai, and Henry. I want to see them do damage onstage.
