Malathion mixed according to direction in a sprayer, apply under the deck and all around.

Make sure there's no standing water ANYWHERE nearby. Burn lots of citronella candles.

I found some stuff online. It is a Garlic concentrate called Mosquito Barrier which has great reviews. No one sells it around here though. I just got some yard guard and some other concentrate you spray with a hose. Screw it. I have off for everyone if that stuff doesn't work.

I've used Yard Guard before...seems like it worked. Also, don't wear perfume/cologne and I've read somewhere they are attracted to blue clothing so maybe avoid that. Hopefully your weather will be cooler on that day.
BTW, I think our invitations must have been lost in the mail :(

I'd have to do some research, but I seem to recall taking one of the B vitamins - or B complex helps to keep them off you. I have heard taking a B-complex and vitamin C before drinking helps to reduce getting drunk and a hang-over. Don't know if there's any truth to that, but it seems to work for me.
