So, Jay gets $200k for winning!  What else does he get and what is the $ breakdown for everyone else? ???

That is pretty lousey money for all the training and also risks a bbuilder at that level takes. Compare that to what a basketball player or a baseball player makes in a game or 2, and it really sucks.

Still, it all comes down to economics.

Having said that, I think there is a mil or 2 in the win with sponsorship, appearance fees, speaking fees, etc, which compared to what many people earn is pretty good.

You'd get more prize money if you had more demand....and seeing how that is not going to happen anytime soon....It is really too bad.

I always thought it was a shame that guys were putting their bodies through all that Hell for NO money.
