Nice Mustang!

Anybody got an olds? I got a 350 rocket which makes good power. Thinking of getting  a 455 and building it up.

That's what I got a 70 cutlass convertible. It's got the 350 in it though, I hear 455 is where it's at. It's just a heavy ass car that needs that torque.
Nice rides 8)

Thanks guys!
i had a lot of late 60's early 70's muscle cars  (they were often found in backyards in weeds and were cheap when i was around 18 yrs old)
i was once found a 1970 440 sixpack Road Runner with functional "air-grabber" hood for $500
and a 1970 Plymouth RoadRunner Superbird sitting in weeds (mom ans my knock on door told me it was her sons car and he had died in Vietnam war/got that real cheap as well ($800 or $1500 can't remember)
Motor was blown but was in great shape bodywise!

here i am at 18 yrs old (on the trunk of my 1973 340 4-Speed RoadRunner/im all the way to the right/long hair) this pic made the front page of my city/town (gloucester/"perfect storm city) newspaper ....and me with a "winter-beater"/monte carlo...  doing a "smoke show" on my street

I have a 67 Fastback Mustang in my garage right now...I've been trying to restore it for awhile, but either had no time or no money- sometimes both. I pulled the entire front end off in about a day and a half after work, including the motor by myself. I then started getting rid of all the crap that was around the front end from 40yrs of use, and then brought everything down to metal. I stopped one day because I couldn't really see how to get the steering column off, and that was almost 5yrs ago now. :(

Yeah, buddday. I have a two bay garage that holds (currently) 5 cars or various years/makes/models, and 3 of them are from the neighbor that rents the other side of the garage. He often brings people by to help him work on his cars, and every single one of them ask about my car. I've had offers of 20k  as-is...but since it was my aunts car and there was a huge family battle for me to get that car, I will never ever part with it.

while on topic somewhat....i have a couple payments left on my car, and then i plan on getting rid of it immediately.

but as i mentioned a couple months ago, i have to get a "crossover" (oh brother) for the wife.

do you "guys" know of anyone who puts out assembly line restomods?  like i don't need a $60,000 shelby, but would like say a 67 fastback for around the same price, but something that's a rotisserie or a dynacorn (name might be off?) body with a decent interior.

as usual, this is purely to compensate for my tiny penis.

damn, my friend's old man has a 63 vette....that he started working on in 1990.  he swears he'll be done next summer.

There's a few companies that make bodies and whatever, but all of them that I've seen are astronomical in price. Like 10k & up for just the bare metal body...no frame, no interior, motor gauges, etc...Just google 67 reproduction Mustang Fastback and you'll probably get a hit on it.

Wooptie doo.  You could spend 35k and drop a 20b 3 rotor in a 1984 Corolla and get similar times as those Stangs.  The Shelby in the original post is a status symbol, not a dragster and I'd take that any day of the week over either of those mustangs you posted.

If I chose to spend 200k+ on a car it wouldn't be that Shelby either.

I've owned 2 66 Mustangs and 1 86 Mustang GT 5.0 convertible.  I totaled one of my 66's just before I was going to race a corvette.  I had just dropped in a McCleod HD Racing Clutch, had a nice pair of Hooker Headers with glass paks,  a Holley on top of a Edelbrock Eliminator, Cragar mags with BFG's and it was clean.  It was a 4 speed 289 but pretty fast.  Hadn't really touched the inside much but was planning on it.  Anyway my friend had just bought a 73 Vette and was bragging and shit so I said lets go.  Light to Light.  We were in a parking lot at Castle Golf in Redondo Beach.  As I watched him go out the driveway I wasn't paying attention and wrapped it around a pole.  I ended up selling it for parts.  I really liked the Mustangs.

My dad has a 78 T-bird, Diamon Jublie Edition (only 14,000 made), sitting in his his drive way. I t has a 351 Cleveland in it, my mother has begged for that car to be towed, it has sitting there for 6 yrs---it is a true project car. My Uncle has had a 1966 Pontiac Catalina since 2005, and drove it everyday, since he bought it in 1966.

I got shaftd by my other Uncle who had a black 1967 Impala SS, said, it was going to be mine, once I graduated college, he sold it while I was in college :'(. My only consolation is the 1957 Olds and the 1967 Biscayne 4 door (that shit is sweet!)
