I'm not a big believer in supplements, but i do have a pwo shake cus it helps and is a good way of getting in all those calories, + a whey shake here and there to get all that protein in for the day, you can only eat so much...

But that's no good for supplement industry. :-\

these workout shakes are an invention from supplement companies. nothing more nothing less.

So is excess protein consumption but it took me long while to realise this

I bet he has the same "shakes" in his fridge as Jay.

I've never really noticed any difference from when I was religious with pre / post shakes and when I've basically just gone home and ate, sometimes an hour later. The science is sound, it just hasn't really translated to much practically for me.
That being said, it'd just be nice not to go home starving.

maybe because he got stuff that works that works better than shakes???

Steroids aren't particularly good at filling you up nutritionally

yes and fools like milos sarcev still propagate high protein intake
-
i think Milos says 50 dextrose + 50g whey protein isolate before workout and again half way through and the final one at the end of workout, he has his own supplement line for this..
Personally if i did that i would find it hard to hold down all the sugar and feel like shit, plus it would cost a fortune and take ages to prepare 3 drinks before each workout.

there is no reason why you have to drink shakes with insulin use. the only thing that is required is glucose intake. and preferably a good amount of protein intake during the several hours prior to the injection. so whole food works just fine.

Milos doesn't need shakes. He brings a goat to his workout and just rips off a limb when he is hungry. For hyrdration he drinks the blood. I thought everyone was aware of this...

exactly, with all the steroids in the world you won't grow without food. no food = no bodybuilder gh15 approved :D
