they all grow some sort of facial hair... never a full beard, but something.
think they do it cause they don;t want people to ask if they are on chemo or something?
90 out of 100 men who are bald have facial hair, just a weird obersevation.

I'll answer your question ...
cause they'll look like an idiot if they don't.

no facial for me brah
once you get over 225 with abs = no need for facial hair
also as captain of team bald genetics I would have to say this is a poor obervation -- just because you want branch warren to do schmoe squats on your face doesnt mean everyone have a fumanchu for you to play with that is bald

I shaved my head for a few months, and was clean shaven too. But aside from my eyebrows, I thought "something was missing."
At first I grew out a long goatee, redneck style. Tried growing the bottom as long as possible and kept the top groomed....being accused of looking like a skin head, I was told by many (girls mainly) that I should trim it short. I didn't want to because EVERY guy, shaved/bald or any combination thereof had that. Reason why, is because it works! And you need something to break up having "too much skin." Some grow facial hair, some have diamond earrings, some both...but in my experience the main reason is because it's to take your eyes of having all that skin and being "too monotonous."

maybe they think being able to at least grow hair somewhere is better than just losing it from their crown?

bald guys must have been balding to shave it off or had thin ugly hair, i couldnt find myself another reason to destroy quality hair by removing it.
already too many copycat stereotype bbers around who shave themselves to live up to "the bbing lifestyle coupe" ::)

Got paid $8400 to shave my head the first time for a Gillette commercial. I shave it now about twice a year.
