He's not naturally wide, it's the muscle and posing that make him wide rather than his frame. And as Shawn Ray pointed out he had slouching shoulders a lot of the time. He does stand in a lazy way.
The other thing that is clear is that his traps appear small. ::)

That physique is amazing. 99% of all the mass monsters out there look like disfigured abominations... Besides the gut I wouldn't mind walking around like Ronnie sometimes.

I saw Flex in person at his peak and he wasn't narrow -- dude was one of the widest guys I've seen. ROnnie didn't seem to wide but when he flairs those lats it's a different story.
