Title: $200,000 "Watercar" Does 0-60 in 4.5 Seconds
Post by: Bodybuilding Related on October 12, 2009, 10:04:18 PM
WaterCar Inc has come out with a high-performance car that can reach freeway speeds [0-60 mph in 4.5 seconds] in the water.

The doors were modified to keep the water out and allow easy access from the water.

how did this car make it legally on the highway with no seatbelts?  that would be a hard ticket to get out of by arguing with the cop that you were speeding to the water.

would like to see a video of it doing that.  Something tells me even if it can, it's not going to be a pretty sight for those in the car ;D

There was an amphibious car sold in the mid 1960's.  Rent the movie "The President's Analyst" to see it.

My neighbors two doors down growing up had one.  I think it was a Fiat or Saab but can't remember.  Had a little prop in the back.  It was a small 4 door car.
