a perpetual-motion machine. ::) Basically in one of my classes we have to get in groups and make a product and set up production and shit for it. Today, we had to go up and tell the rest of the class our progress and present. So this group of two Venezuelans go up and say their product is a fucking perpetual-motion machine and that they been working on in for a year. :-\ So this chick goes, "Are you going to use magnets?". Their go " we can't talk about the details because were trying to get a patent." So their product breaks the 2nd Law of Thermodynamics, and it is small and can power a huge company. ::) ::) dude was like, " with this system and a gear box, a company can get over the grid."
So this nerdy dude starts talking to his group behind me talking about how it is impossible. I'm going yup, and holding in my lol.

technically impossible but a fascinating idea to ponder about

it suppose to be a real product that we have to make a sell.

well its fascinating enough that da vinci would spend months trying to develop one.
ive thought about it, my version would work, but you need an initial outside energy source, and then a small amount of outside energy non stop. the sun could work. but any outside energy at all would defeat the whole idea of a self powered never stopping machine.

I dont understand why Ron lets high schoolers post here :-\

Then it isn't a closed system.

yeah read my last sentence. the best one can do is just to get something as close to self-powered as possible. energy recylcing is the way to do so.

I guess they weren't kidding when they said the educational system in Texas sucks :-\

well its fascinating enough that da vinci Leonardo would spend months trying to develop one.

The laws of thermodynamics were discovered after Leonardo's lifetime... They were discovered through research on the most effective ways to distill liquor...
