I always do this a few hours every night.
you sit while crossing your legs and then put about 4 pillows on top of each other infront of you and then just rest your head on that, feels great.
The only backside is your legs turn numb, and you wake up because of it :(

Afraid of a catabolic state or do you really prefer this over a bed?

I do it in a bed, it actually feels better for my back rather the lying down.
