I pretty much drop BBing training around this time of year and concentrate on lifts rather than any specific muscle groups.
I'm doing the Bill Starr 5x5 right now with a few slight mods. Instead of Bench/Deadsor Row/Squats I'm doing DB Benchs, High Pulls, and Front Squats.

Good exercise selection for the 5X5's. Back in the mid-west and east, some BB'ers will switch to a heavier lifting program. And heavier eating during fall & winter.Can gain muscle mass that way. Spring brings them back to true BB'ing style workouts & diets. In SOCal, not so much. Usually pretty nice weather all year round. Good Luck.

Something must be wrong with me. I even diet during the holidays when all that good home-cooking and extra candy, cake and cookies are lying around.
Been doin it this way for years. WTF?
