This is a listing of the projected jobs created vs. the actual jobs lost on a state-by-state level. Only North Dakota is in a positive:

13% (roughly)of the stimulis money has been spent by the states to cover medicare costs and other operating fees states incure. NOTHING was spent SO FAR to create real jobs and this proves that. So where this Admin comes out to say they TOOK THIS ECONOMY FROM THE BRINK, AND CREATED AND OR SAVED REAL JOBS, SOME 30,000 OF THEM, is a joke, a lie, not trackable and since we've lost millions of jobs in the last 11 months, 30k is a piss stream in the ocean.

Yes, the stimulus package, like the bailouts, was nothing more than a pay-back to those who supported Obama. It was forced through under weak, if not non-existant pretenses. Hell, nobody even read it!!!

Sorry,your wrong.Joe Biden said its working better then expected.And if Biden says it it must be true,because after all he said "FDR was president in 1929 and went on television" so hes obviously a brilliant man.

Biden says were in a depression. Obama says he saved us from a depression with the "Stimulus Bill".

we have a FOX News anchor on TV last week crediting Bush for what is a now an economic recovery.
So are we recovering?
fter 18 months, let's measure and see if we are back on our feet. Grading the stim bill before then is premature. We're in a bad spot, no doubt about it. but the bleeding has slowed significantly. Will growth result? We've only spent a fraction of the stim $ and the bleeding is nearly stopped. Will the next 60% of the stim bill result in positive growth?
We'll have to wait and see. I remember guys lik 333386 declaring healthcare dead 2 months ago. Now, we see obama about to pass it. Again, 33 and friends are declaring the Stim bill a bust. We'll see. They certainly spiked the ball on the 50-yard line, celebrating the TD, on healthcare...

Landrieu came out today and said no PO.
Byrd said the same thing.
All the GOP will vote against it.
Baucus does not have the votes for a PO. Pelosi will have revolt if she has no PO>
