Title: measuring waist size

How do I properly measure waist size?

Tape around the belly button?

Suck in stomach as much as possible?

I can pull a vacuum and measure 26 inches

i would need to vacuum for an hour to measure 26 inches

If you want to be able to measure consistent progress, you have to be able to measure it in the same place each time. Across the belly button seems to be the best bet... unless your belly button moves around a lot.
