Never again should the UFC hold and event in California.
-
Machida did not do any damage and he could hardly walk, but perhaps he scored on the "judges" cards with some invicible dim mak death touch... ::)
Worst display of 'judges" incompetence in any UFC fight.

that wasn't the 2007 Mr. Olympia
-
Yes, shogun was totally dominant. Took Machida down at will and pounded the shit out of him ... or maybe he didn't

I guess these UFC "judges" attended a IFBB Judges Course...

Machida could hardly stand on his legs and he did no damage to Shogun. Nothing whatsoever...

who names themselves shogun LOL

He was still standing on his legs, holding Shogun's hand while Shogun danced around him. If shogun wants the belt, he needs to bring it. Like Machida did with Evans. Nobody doubted that

So you are saying...in order to defend your belt..all you have to do is stand on your legs and holding another man's hand? Sounds like you are confusing MMA with your nights at the Blue Oyster Bar ::)

utter garbage. Shogun won the fight fair and square. There's no rule that says "in order to win the belt, you have to not only win, but win in a landslide". Shogun was dominant for 4 of the 5 rounds, easily.

I wanted Machida, but I totally agree that Rua was robbed.

Did you want Machida as much as Onemangang wants Rua? ???
-
Close call.....could have gone either way easily in my opinion. That shit happens when it's not very clear who's winning and yes Shogun got the better of leg kicks exchange but so did Machida with punches and body kicks. I'm pretty sure there will be a rematch.
-
even though shogun was robbed he is still the champion of my heart ;D
-
Shogun won at least 4 rounds of the 5, a blackeye for the UFC, not one person picked machida.
-
Both pussies .... Like fedor
-
Rua got screwed, hopefully he gets another shot soon and they don't wait two damn years like Dana likes to do.

They should fight again tonight and see who wins
-
same with boxing in order to defeat the champion you have to win in a convincing fashion, in the judges eyes he did not.

-
Its was one of the worst decisions in the history of the ufc
-
I just watched the fight and I was rooting for Machida but it was pretty clear Shogun won pretty decisively too.
-
that wasn't the 2007 Mr. Olympia
haha
-
This yet again proves that rua is the best and most dominant middleweight
-
Until he fights Anderson Silva and then he'll get humiliated just like Forrest Griffin.
-
Apparently Cecil Peoples was one of the judges. No surprises there
