sounds more like someone gave him disinformation knowing he'd spread it far and wide. the person giving him that info probably has a vested interest in seeing it fail.

It is my fault i should have confirmed it with concerned people before breaking the news.of course so many people want to see them fail. it is big war going on between RAT and santonja and all of a sudden bodybuilders become sacred territory for both parties. time to make some money guys sell yourself right and u will be set for life. Arab money is floating on both ends.

Did not the IFBB Women's World just take place in Italy a week or so ago? And the Men's World is definately on in Doha, Qatar.
Here is the calender of events for the IFBB National events (not USA, but around the world)

Why not?
Their Bodybuilder failed the doping test 4 months ago so they should be banned. But at the moment IFBB is in desperate need of money and the only one who can pay is Qatar; so anything that Qatar says will be implemented by force

competed as an IFBB pro in 1989 too
http://musclememory.com/show.php?a=Mabrouk,+El+Shahat
-
i have said it before.. there is a difference between the drug tested events and the natural events.. it sounds like semantics but, there is a difference.. if you test negative, no matter how juiced you are, you get to compete.. just like the olympics.. but, you will notice that the word "natural" is not mentioned.. you just need to be clean at test time and have a negative test.. these guys are not natural of course.. if you want natural then go to the nga shows where they truly are.. at least most..

As an amatuer may make more money from their goverment than be a pro.
Taiwan's Nationals which just held last month, and the average class-winner can earn about $10,000 US dollar from their local county goverment.

These guys love to take it up the ass.

wasnt my question, and how many Taiwanese are going to ever win a pro card, none! ::) and why would the local county give tax payers money to drug using musclemen ::) tax money would better be spent on getting your president a plane that dont catch fire and defense to keep Red China off the island!

BAHRAIN's national bodybuilding team arrived in Qatar yesterday for the 63rd World Amateur Championship which is set for tonight at the Sheraton Hotel in Doha.
Three of Bahrain's top bodybuilders were named to represent the kingdom at this prestigious competition, to be organised for the 63rd consecutive year and features nine different weight categories.
Veteran bodybuilder Sami Al Haddad is leading Bahrain's hopefuls in the event, during which more than 600 bodybuilders, representing 77 countries of the world's best are in the fray.
Al Haddad will compete in the 90kg division while the remaining two to spearhead Bahrain are Hussain Jassim and Arafat Yaqoob who will take part in the 75kg and 80kg events, respectively.
Jassim will be looking to defend his title in the same weight category which he won in the previous edition cup held at the Bahrain Internatinoal Exhibition Centre last year.
On arrival, the three Bahrainis underwent weigh-in inspection as they were accompanied by Bahrain Weightlifting and Bodybuilding Association president Shaikh Abdulla bin Rashid Al Khalifa.
Shaikh Abdulla, who is also president of the Asian Bodybuilding Federation, was recently named new International Federation of Bodybuilders (IFBB) vice-president.
The weigh-in procedure was followed by the pre-judging which was conducted by a group of the world's most experienced judges who came from different countries. In the pre-judging, the best five bodybuilders in each weight category qualified for today's final show, which gets underway at 3pm.
After today's main show, the Bahrain team are due to return home at 3.30pm on Thursday in a Gulf Air jet.
Bahrain will also participate in the World Masters Championship, to be held in Bialystok, Poland from November 13 to 16. The tournament consists of junior and senior sections for men and women, starting from 70kg weight category.
The Bahraini team in this event will also feature three members, including Jassim who is due to take part in the same 75kg weight section.
The other bodybuilders are Abdulwahed Al Asfoor, to compete in the 80kgs and Hassan Saleh in the +100kg heavy weight event.

Elshahat Mabrouk is not the most appealing or symmetrical athlete anymore, but he might receive higher placements because
- out of respect for his age (over 50)
- he is a mainstream celebrity in Egypt (did many movies)
- the influence of the Egyptian IFBB

he never was an appealing bodybuilder other wise he would have turned pro long time ago.i mean he use to compete with lee labrada for goodness sake.
But i honestly think he is 3rd.
and for the entertainment sami al hadad weight 89kg and ali tabrizi 93kg at weigh-in.i think sami and tabrizi intentionally switch classes just to make sure they both won their classes.
-
they look "clean" to me.
