Title: Best investments for the next 2 years?

Are we in an economic recovery?  Is the dollar going to rebound against gold and the Euro, or is today's price the best we're going to see for a while?  Where are you putting your money?

I keep reading "buy gold".  Since I'm not a business person though, the only place I know how to buy gold is a jewlery shop.

I can tell you that out of the funds that my retirement at work allows me to invest in, the International Fund is posting the biggest returns.
