Title: Joe Weider trainer of the champs?

Every time you see the name of Joe Weider, you know that "trainer of the champions sice 1936" comes next.


My two questions, if is true he started in 36' how old he was back then?  and who was that first champion?

he was born in 1922 which would make him 14 very advanced for his age. people matured earlier then  usually married by 12 dead by 30 etc.

he was born in 1919, so he was 17.
at that age he published his first training magazine.

no evidence for either of those things.  Joe had stated that to the best of his knowledge he was born in 1922, but the birth certificate was not filed until many years later.

I didnt know he trained a "champ" in 1936.... I do know he's trainning Wolf starting January.
