Munzer sporting some Goodrum like conditioning there.

Something never looked quite right with Flex's quads.
I'm not sure is it was a lack of size or just the muscle bellies didnt extend fully down the femur. (his upper body muscle attachments were great)
Munzers thighs were straight up diesel
-
How the hell did Dillet defeat Munzer... He should be filing a police report from beyond the grave!! >:(

statute of limitations

It was genetics, the same genetics that call for full round muscle bellies, extends not just to his arms but legs as well. Resulting in round quads, that you don't think extend fully, vut they do. Also his hams were very round and full. If you look at his legs during a side chest shot, you'll see how they resemble his arms (almost perfect circles).

Flex owns him

If Munzer didnt die, he wouldve been top 5 at the olympiqs in the late 90's. As you can see in the video, he was getting to be huge. huge and ripped. It was only a matter of time, he wouldve been too big to deny a top 5 olympia placing.
Too bad he died 2 weeks after the 1996 olympia

What was wrong with his UPPER ABS? They look very red and very swollen?

12 days after the 96 Arnold and his structure just wasn't good enough. If he was there in the early 2000's he would have cleaned up at the smaller shows (same with Clarmonte) but in 96 there were just too many great structures walking around.

Man those two guys look ridiculous as they step down
This years Cutler was one of the only competitors that come to mind when i think of a scaled up version of that look, granted there are some muscle belly differences, the rest is indifferent, f' the 'monster' look.

holy shit the fucker was ripped to the bone

This was back when ESPN was trying to mainstream bodybuilding. The recap show didn't even mention Munzer and tried to not have any footage with him in it.
I thought it was criminal.
Structure? Come on. I don't recall seeing anyone that big that shredded before or after. Since he died from it I hope to never see anyone in that kind of shape again. He was symetrical, stood pose for pose with the rest of the top five. Should have place higher in my book.
To not even mention his name or present the physique he gave his life for, to me, was just a huge insult.
