Title: Liddell/Ortiz 3?
Post by: coltrane on November 04, 2009, 10:30:50 AM
Tito is calling out Lidell in that he wants a 3rd fight with him...as per mmaweekly.

Tito now eyes a weaker liddell (in that he's been knocked out many times) in order to avenge his 2 losses.

Thoughts?   I'd actually like to see a part 3.

I'm a huge Tito fan but I don't know if I like this idea.  Chuck is on his last legs so if Tito beats him down he won't get any credit for it.  Also, Chuck seems to have Tito's number so there a high risk of Tito getting beat again.  If I were Tito I wouldn't be calling anybody out until I found out how my recently repaired back holds up against Forrest.  It wasn't too long ago that he couldn't train AT ALL.

An infinitely boring fight at this point imo--

Lets see how Forrest fares against him this time.

Lidell Ortiz 3 might be the battle of washed up former 205 champs trying to cash in on the hype of one last pay day.

Tito always has an excuse. My back is bad, I got hit in the groin, the sun was in my eyes. Liddell still wins this with this over hand looping right.

not taking away anything from both of these fighters for what they have done for the WWE(I mean UFC) but lets face it,theirs no way that Liddell can lookhimself in the mirror and see what Randy has done well into his 40's and be OK with how the end of his "fighting" career ended...He is slowly moving into Shamrock terrority...But to be honest that just may be where he belongs...I've heard it written that Liddell was always a glorified "Tuff Man Champ" who happen to be at the right place at the right time...If the Liddell nut huggers really believe in Chuck, then this guy should be ballz to the wall training a couple years ago...Its my take that Liddell himself always knew he was never a true MMA fighter for the 21st century...Because if he was, he would have busted his ass in the gym and kept learning instead of driving around in $200,000 silly red cars trying to be someone who is destined to get laughed at...I've also heard rumors that Dana wants him to retire for the next 5 years so he can come back and "if he loses" it will be because he was to old and most people would stick up for him because so...Thats is fucking sad...Bottom line is Chuck is a lazy 21'st century MMA fighter...Just the way HHH said that Hulk Hogan is a Lazy 21st century Wrestler...
