poor big black man, doesn't know whats gonna hit him lol.
Fedor is one cool laidback dude lol. Multi multi multi millionaire, ugly car and "I like my small town, I'm happy here" does't flash his money, etc etc.
Black american boxers should learn something.
-
trains alongside with kids etc, :) one good dude.
-
I wanna train there lol
-
Holy shit fedors wife is HOT
-
Very cool!... Fedors the man and I wish we could see him clean house in the UFC.
-
Fedor's going to be introduced to the mainstream world on Saturday. Hell yeah!
Greatest MMA fighter EVER.
-
After he wins within the first round there is only alistair overeem left, outside the ufc.
then something needs to fucking happen.
-
lol Fedor is funny.
"Fighting is not a passion for me it's more of a job"

the whole poor black man from the ghetto angle is soo played out.
-
my favorite part is when brett rogers is saying how he is going to knock him out and fedor says people have talked like that before.then goes on to say its show buisness. americans could learn from his humbleness. man i hope he wins
-
Fedor will knock this chump out in the first rd.

Roger's coach made the brutal mistake of thinking Fedor's made of flesh and blood.
Anything short of Fedor dismembering him and eating him alive would be disappointment for me.
But then again, let's hope he doesn't get Cro-Copped.

Very well done vid. Fedor is the man!

Unlike CroCop, Fedor said that he's trained in a cage for years and would prefer to fight in one. His style is also tailor made for a cage whereas CroCop's wasn't.
-
I'd prefer to fight in a ring so I could whip them into the ropes and give them a lariat when they bounced off. ;D

Could set up a beastly Sean Michael's superkick with the ropes. Doesn't seem plausible with the cage.

haha, yes. I don't know why they don't rake their head on the cage? Get some juice flowing.
-
Hell ya! Sat night. No moremanagers birthday party 8)
-
Rogers will upset the world... >:(
-

Source?
Rogers have extremely good sprawl and take down defense. He hit like a ton of bricks. He is 10-0, all by knockouts. This makes him dangerous to anyone.

But he wades in and throws a ton of punches, missing most, before he connects. He tries that against Fedor and he will get ko'd in short work.
-
Rogers comes off like a good guy and relatively humble-- I am going to feel bad when Fedor rips his arm off in the first round and uses it as a golf club.
I am looking forward to this fight, but I have the feeling it will be short.
-
;)
-
The only thing that Rogers has that Fedor doesn't is bitch tits. Fedor is the man. 1st round knockout.
-
lol Fedor is funny.
"Fighting is not a passion for me it's more of a job"
thats probably why he is so good. doesn't get all worked up, just trains, and goes in and does his job.
-
well.. lets be real.. why rogers?.. because he can beat him easily.. fedor did screw up by not taking the ufc contract.. could be beat lesner?.. i guess he does not want to find out and possibly lose his "legacy".. but, he sure would have made some money..
-
I wonder what he does with all his money, nothing it seems like lol.
the whole poor black man from the ghetto angle is soo played out.
he donates to the church, and other local things, at least that what i remember him saying in another interview. i am sure he some invested in his organization as well.
-
Fedor by arm bar..... actually Fedor by anything he wants... lol
-
I have a feeling fedor is going to get rocked
-
i actually hope the fight will go at least 2 rounds.......
-
Fedor by knockout...

i think you're way off the mark on this one
-
the big fat black guy is fatter than hell, i dont care how hard he hits, when your that fat you cant position your body as well and gass out quicker of corse
-
i could take fedor or that black guy both too fucking slow this is a vid some months back even faster and more ripped now and i dount even train mma ::) ;D (http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y256/honigga/IMG_1019kk.jpg)
-
They should put Okami with fedor
he'd smash his jaw
twice !
-
-
-
If it goes to the ground Rogers is going to get beat. Stand up-wise I think Rogers has the edge.
-
LOL
Fedor has the edge standing, on the ground, in mid air, or 20,000 feet below sea level.
Rogers is just a big dude who can thump-- he does not have the skill set or athleticism that Fedor does and to top it off, he only has 10 fights under his belt.
I think Fedor will allow the fight to go on for about a minute or two before he decides he wants to go home and he either breaks Rogers jaw or arm bars him.
-
;)
Kuymu's lost some size.. good condition though!

I wouldnt call tim silvia the most dominating champ & him & arlovski are/was well past there primes....however it is quite dumb to say fedor hasnt fought anyone.Matt Lindland, mark hunt, mark coleman, mirco cro cop,Nogueira, kevin randleman, heath herring...just to name a few...
-
Tim Sylvia is nowhere close to being the most dominating champ but there is zero doubt that Fedor is the GOAT-- He has destroyed a who's who of MMA fighters and he did it when these fighters were in their prime for the most part;
Noguerra at his best twice, Cro Cop at his best, Herring when Herring was still a big name, Coleman twice when Coleman was considered by many to be one of the best heavyweights in the world, Kevin Randleman, Ricardo Arona and Babalu when they were both in their primes and on and on and on.
The only two guys Fedor never fought that are or would have been interesting are Randy Coture and Brock Lesnar. As to Coture, I think most people would agree that fedor would destroy him-- he's too old and has definetly lost a step. Brock is at least somewhat debatable.

Commercial spots for CBS’s Saturday Night Fights broadcast of Strikeforce/M-1 Global “Fedor vs. Rogers” have completely sold out, according to Kelly Kahl, executive vice president for primetime programming for the network.
“I’d say this was probably a quicker sellout than the EliteXC shows,” said Kahl, who added that the addition of top-ranked heavyweight Fedor Emelianenko has piqued interest in “premium advertisers” from the auto, movies, and video gaming genres.
Aside from ratings, advertising sales are a second way that networks can gauge interest in its programming. Kahl said that other sporting events on CBS usually complete their advertising sales a day or two before air date if that.
Among those scheduled around the live broadcast, EA Sports will unveil a preview of its MMA game due out in 2010.
Kahl would not suggest the ratings’ range CBS hopes to draw for Saturday’s show -- its first live MMA event since EliteXC “Heat” in October 2008. However, Kahl said any movement in the young male demographics, particularly Male 18-49 and 18-34, will be coveted. CBS averages a .7 rating in that demo on Saturdays, its lowpoint of the week, said Kahl.
EliteXC “Heat” drew a 2.5 rating in the Male 18-34 and 18-49 brackets a year ago, when Seth Petruzelli knocked out Kimbo Slice in 14 seconds during the main event. The three live MMA events that CBS broadcasted in 2008 ranged between an average 2.6 and 4.8 million viewers.

A crowd of more than 10,000 spectators could greet two of the world’s top 10 heavyweights when Fedor Emelianenko meets Brett Rogers in the Strikeforce/M-1 Global “Fedor vs. Rogers” main event this Saturday at the Sears Centre Arena in Hoffman Estates, Ill.
According to Strikeforce CEO Scott Coker, who received the figures from Ticketmaster, 9,815 tickets have been sold for the promotion’s debut on CBS, which will also feature a five-round middleweight title fight between Jake Shields and Jason "Mayhem" Miller. That leaves only 871 tickets unsold for the show. By comparison, UFC 90, which featured a middleweight title bout between Anderson Silva and Patrick Cote, drew 15,359 at the Allstate Arena in nearby Rosemont, Ill., in October 2008.
A Chicago Sun-Times feature story on the stoic Emelianenko, whose stateside marketability has long been questioned, resulted in a surge of interest, according to organizers. The 33-year-old Russian has not tasted defeat in nearly nine years.
Unbeaten in his last 27 fights, Emelianenko leveled former UFC champions Andrei Arlovski and Tim Sylvia in his two most recent outings. He knocked out Arlovski with one punch 3:14 into their match at Affliction “Day of Reckoning” in January but has not competed since. Emelianenko agreed to a multi-fight deal with Strikeforce in August, spurning an offer from the rival UFC.
Difficult to stomach on his feet and on the ground, Emelianenko has finished his last five opponents inside one round and holds notable victories against Brazilian legend Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira, 2006 Pride open weight grand prix winner Mirko “Cro Cop” Filipovic and former UFC heavyweight champions Mark Coleman and Kevin Randleman. He has secured 23 of his 30 career wins by knockout, technical knockout or submission.
Rogers meanwhile, launched himself into the national spotlight when he dismantled Arlovski in 22 seconds at a Strikeforce show in June. The 28-year-old Minnesotan has finished all 10 of his opponents and represents a formidable physical challenge for Emelianenko, who has been often criticized for his choice of opposition. Rogers, a 6-foot-5, 265-pound EliteXC veteran, will own a significant height and weight advantage when the two meet inside the cage.
In addition, Strikeforce received 150 media requests for the event, more than double the volume the promotion typically experiences, according to CBS representatives.

CHICAGO -- A quartet of heavyweights are very much in the mix for a title shot at Strikeforce and M-1 Global’s “Fedor vs. Rogers” this Saturday at the Sears Centre Arena in Hoffman Estates, Ill.
The world’s top-ranked heavyweight, Fedor Emelianenko, is the strong favorite against undefeated Brett Rogers, while recent signees Fabricio Werdum and Antonio Silva will vie for a place in the division’s still evolving pecking order. Both are three-round, non-title bouts.
And if Strikeforce heavyweight champion Alistair Overeem can’t return to defend his turf in early 2010, the winners of Saturday’s fights could meet in a title elimination bout during that time.
“You see the matchup potential between the winner of the Silva-Werdum fight and the winner of the Fedor vs. Rogers fight, so I think it would make sense for those two to fight each other depending on how it goes,” said Strikeforce CEO Scott Coker.
Coker seemed assured that Overeem, who won the title from Paul Buentello in November 2007 but has never defended it, will be back in the fold in the first quarter of 2010.
However, Overeem has cancelled two attempts the promotion made this year to pair him up with Fabricio Werdum because of a hand injury. In the interim, Overeem entered this year’s K-1 tournament in September and advanced to its finals on Dec. 5 in Japan. The lanky Dutchman also squeezed in two additional MMA bouts, one in his homeland in October and the other a week later for Dream in Japan, during that time.
J. Sherwood/Sherdog.com
With Overeem’s future commitments still undetermined, Saturday’s heavyweight doubleheader has palpable ramifications.
Emelianenko, who turned down a multi-fight deal with the UFC in August to join Strikeforce’s ranks, said he plans to stick around to find out what happens next.
“I know for sure that I will have two more fights next year in the U.S.A. and then we’ll see how the contract will work,” said Emelianenko through his translator. “Maybe we’ll sign another contract.
The stoic Russian said being the heavy favorite hasn’t altered his mindset or preparation for the bout.
“I never try to think about how impressive I am,” said Emelianenko. “I just come to ring. I come to the ring to show my techniques and show my skills. I want definitely to finish it as fast as possible.”
Emelianenko’s would-be unsurper, Rogers, might have the most to gain with what would be classified as a huge upset victory if he prevails Saturday.
“I’m kinda in that ball right now where I’m about to explode,” said Rogers. “This is my first time… where I can just go out and fight and I’m ready to go.”
In the other bracket, the heavy-handed Silva, making his return to the U.S. following a one-year steroids suspension, has an equally career-changing challenge in Werdum, a Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt once in the UFC title hunt.
“He has very strong points and weaknesses,” said Silva through his manager, Alex Davis. “I’ve been training very hard in jiu-jitsu and standup with my coach, just came off a fight in Japan four months ago and have been training ever since. I’ve come to do or die.”
Likewise to the other three vying for Strikeforce’s heavyweight top spot, Werdum simply stated that his goal is to secure a bout with Emelianenko or Rogers next.

sorry dude

I can't wait to see this fight. How great is it that it's for free? I think Fedor is past his prime even at his young age. Fighters have so much wear and tear on their body. I think if this goes big in the ratings he will be in a perfect position for Strike Force and the UFC to make a super fight between Brock and Fedor.
-
brett will rush in and get knocked out early in the first round.
-
Realize any heavyweight has a puncher's chance, but why is this big nobody getting Fedor so soon? Strikeforce must be slim pickins.
-
link for the fight ?

you got any other 10-0 hw with all 10 wins in knockout outside of the ufc?

Guess it'll have to do then, but she won't be pretty.

How is rogers as a person?? Is he arrogant? Or is he humble?
I wouldnt mind seeing an american beat Fedor. But i think the kind of guy that would beat fedor is a big free style wrestler type

Always possible, especially in MMA.
-
Always possible, especially in MMA.
yes it is very possible because all fighters lose, but you know there will be idiots saying that fedor is overrated if he finally loses
E
-
I just took a nap dreaming that Fedor was toying with some 400 lbs monster, don't know who it was. It wasnt Brett Rogers because he wasn't black. Fedor was juicing and was close to 300 lbs. The other guy was like 6'6 obviously juicing as well. And it seemed more of a WWE type match. Which I didn't really liked.
-

E
Yeah, but that's just silly. Best fighter ever, I'd say. Wish he'd sign with Dana, but I understand.
-
Rogers is a good guy overall I would say.
He comes from humble beginnings and was working at a car service place up until a few years ago.
He is a family man who just bought his first house in the suburbs-- Seems down to earth and grounded.
Of course he has to at least act like he's confident he's going to win, otherwise whats the point?
I don't think he has the skills, athelticism, experience, or chin to win the fight, but if by some miracle he pulls it off, I won't be pissed off that he was the one to do it.

Omg, did a black man just do a commercial for fried chicken? hahahaha

Why the fk doesnt Fedor get a better house etc? Doesn't have to live like Shaq but come on why make all the money to just die with a swollen (no homo) bank account.

The delusionites are swayed by the giant penis on his chest. It clouds their judgment.

A funny fact is that back in the day you could track those air planes with submarine sonar.. they were THAT fucking loud.

Thats a Russian plane correct? A bomber maybe
-
Thats a Russian plane correct? A bomber maybe
That's a russian cold war bomber called "Bear". It had massive turboprop engines with twin propellers that made an unbelievable amount of noise. I'm really not kidding that submarine sonars submerged in water could track one of those fuckers while it was tens of thousands of feet up in the air.
-
Again, don't know much about MMA but seemed liek fedor was just playin around with him. The dude is fucking fast, adn rogers didnt even see what hit him. The jab he got him with was a fluke.
-
The GOAT showed why he is the best.
Rogers held his own, but as usual it was just a matter of time.
-
