You need to be in a tourism growth area. New York City or London are great for the moment as there are tons of tourists from Continental Europe flogging there thanks to the weak Dollar and British Pound.

Other growth areas are places outside the Euro zone - North Africa, Turkey, Black Sea, ski resorts in Eastern Europe.

Don't waste your time getting a degree in an area that sucks.  Go get a real degree and find a recession proof job.

If you're smart enough to choose a different degree, then do so. Don't waste your time and money.

Not true in all places.  Hotels were sold out left in right on Collins, in Miami, when I went to book a room last week.

Hawaii is still great.  Disney is ground breaking with a new resort next year.  Will increase tourism dramatically.
