damn impressive, and no doubt a future pro. I don't keep up on the amatuer ranks anymore, but I can't imagine this guy not becoming a pro this year. Good to see some good new talent on the horizon, cuz the sport needs it.....i mean with Kamali being gone and all ::)

Dude has serious potential, especially being 6'1. Has alot of room to grow. I just hope his gut doesn't grow, cause from the look of how his abdominal region is put together he could end up with a gut like Marcus Haley. And he should watch the gyno...

Doesn't look anything special for a super-heavyweight IMO - nothing that makes you think he'll do any damage in the pros.

Hasn't Melvin gotten in shape-comparing himself to only himself- once? At the NOC that he won in 2004, and maybe in the 2008 Atlantic City. But even when Melvin is in shape, he's still pretty damn soft for whatever reason(s). I guess he might just not want to do what everyone else does in order to win?

i agree, u can have the freakiest genetics in the world! but w/o asthetics u dont belong on stage, if he improves his back and tri's, which will come in time, he will be great,
