Its a great show. After watching it I have been to all the places he went in Atlanta, Juan and a Million in Austin, Slows bbq and omalleys in detroit. All the places lived up to the hype.
-
I completed the "great balls of fire" fritters at Salvador Mollys in Portland, OR last year. Got my pic up on the wall near his.
-
My friend was on the Detroit show at the Malley's challenge.

last night i saw a guy that was addicted to porn on mtv.

did it make you hungry?

I wonder how long he can eat like that before having health issues. I watched the show a few weeks ago where he ate this huge sandwich and drank like a six pound milk shake. Later on that nght I had a dream about a roast beef sandwich. The next day I hit up Firehouse Subs and got my fix!!

haha...well assuming he only eats like that during the show it shouldnt be to much of an issue...now if he's eating like that on a daily basis he's in trouble....
-
Love watching the show..oh that 72 ounce steak was yummy
-
The Salt Lick BBQ place in Austin is the bomb. The burnt tips of the brisquet, Oh my goodness, Oh my goodness!

I might be wrong but I would think he has to eat quite a bit of food on a regular basis for his stomach to be able to hold all that food. I know my stomach would be able to handle it.

don't know....I can tell you when I was in the best shape of my life in my mid twenty's I ate very strict and pretty low calories monday-saturday....then on sundays I went ape shit and regularly ate 12,000-15,000 with no problem at all (which is a little more than I ate all week)...so it's defiantly possible.....

This guy doesn't look like he is on any kind of diet. probably just likes to eat and gets over the mind issues when eating so much.

WHY IS HE ALWAYS SHOUTING? I THINK IT'S THE U.S. SCHOOL OF PRESENTING: OVEREXCITED AND LOUD. SEE HOW ANNOYING THAT IS?

I wonder which is harder, eating a ridiculous quantity of food or eating something so hot your entire body feels like it's on fire.

I know that after shows I have eaten so much food that people couldn't believe it. Last year after a show there were a couple of days that I ate so much I went to bed just so I wouldn't eat any more food. I went from 216 to 238 in three days. Most of the food was spread out throughout the day though. I couldn't eat that much at one sitting.

7 pounds a day ::)
it's possible as I'm sure he was very dehydrated at 216 and at 238 retaining a ton of water and quite bloated.....
many fighters lose 12-15lbs prior to there weigh in only to gain it all back and then some 24hours later...

7 pounds a day ::)
Actually he's is probably telling the truth. Rebound weight gain is epic after a show...
-
Adam has the best job in the world....and now he's got guys like us travelling to all the haunts he visits to try out the challenges.....I traveled four and half hours to Boston to a seafood restaurant to try out a seafood platter he ate on TV..it was awesome....
Amazing show.....
-
anybody still watching?..the show gets better and better
-
I absolutely love this show! SO good to see someone representing a love basic staple pig-out foods, not just small arty food!
Also it's always fun trying to work out how well you'd do in the challenges. Like the pizza challenges I think I'd do well, but the ones with like 4lb of beef and 3lb of bread look impossible!
-
great show ::) ::) really???
watching some fat jew gorge himself and crack terrible jokes
it amazing hwo disconnected i am with popular culture, i cannot bring myself to watch shit like this
-
Isn't he Italian american? I dunno.
If you are disconnected from popular culture that explains why you do not like this show.
-
i hate that show out of envy.....that bastard has the best job ever...
bench
-
i went to the sandwich place he had in chicago. it was ok, but i don't see what the huge boner was. i ate the sandwich he did, and had a beer.
-

Not if you saw wife swap the other night...Poor Out of work, fat family lving in a two bedroom 800 square foot trailer vs. Happy Health Family living BIG house. Poor mother had fat,fat arm wings and look she had a goiter. All the kids were fat and drinking slurpees and they had pizza night..
Man vs food sometimes makes me hungry, but i think in a short time, its gonna kill him..Would be great if they had a actual athlete or a bber that could use the calories efficiently and effectively
All they need is some off season bber and just let him eat, unlimited food
-
He travels with a slew of physicians and a personal trainer. he is required to do at least 2 to 3 hours of cardio everyday. They really do what they can to keep him healthy.

Keith, the cardio is him walking to and into the restuarant, then pickig up the food and eating it...of course there is the walking on set, scoping things out, talking, etc. There you go 2-2 hrs...all that sodium, protein, carbs ain't good for anybody. Period. A doctor may ok something on the sly, but when check out what he is eating and all the HUGE portions of salt and seasonings these places put in food...it's mind blowing. Fvck, just take a look at the sodium in salad dressing...
-
He probably hacks it all up as soon as the camera stops rolling.
-
Great show on food!! ;D, These small diners and cafe`s are so elegant to grub in!

how many of these places does he do? 2 a month maybe? i'm sure the travel channel or whoever is doing everything they can to avoid being accursed of killing a person.

do you really think such a person exists? a bodybuilder with personality that won't make you switch the channel after 30 seconds?

True
Lee Priest, that mofo could eat...and can imagine him saying something while he's eating corn on the cob, "Excuse me waitress, I'll eat corn out of your shit, but first put your finger down my mouth and gag me...pass the KFC...on to Popeye's...cream potatoes? Those remind me of the load Dilllett blew on a chick...yeah, it was just as thick as he was..."

Once in a lifetime role, his colon must hate him and he'll probably get a condition but fuck it, it's rockn roll, fucking badass career choice!
-
It's not as if Adam eats like that all the time. Sure, it's not healthy to gorge like that on food but I'm sure the guy is taking the necessary medical precautions into consideration.
The hot spicey food challenges are pretty painful to watch, though. He looks physically awful on camera after he attempts that type of challenge.
-
I really don't know how this guy can go challenge to challenge after eating that scorching hot food...My ass would be on fire fuck that...I can't even eat jalapenos 3 different days in the week without problems....
-

agreed...
-
did anyone see the episode when joey chestnut came out of the crowd and took down that five pound burrito in just under four minutes? Fucking epic.
-
I use to be super impressed with him til he tried the 6 pound burrito challenge and couldnt finish it in 90 mins. Last fall I did a 6 pound burritto and another pound in sides in 52 mins plus had ice cream an hour later. Might explain why I'm not losing anymore weight hahaha :) But he does have a sweet gig goin on might as well milk it for what its worth.

to be fair us bigger weightlifters have the ability to put away massive amounts of food...He's just a regular dude that loves to eat...
-
He does have good days and bad days. He also doesn't claim to be anything special as far as ability, but makes up for it in enjoyment and appreciation. Isn't it a 7 pound burrito? He seems to be good at large amounts of meat, but less good with bready things, for instance the pizza challenge that skinny guy he's partnered with smokes him easily. Respect to Bigbadwolfe if you ate that much burrito. All the beans and bread are so fucking filling. The 5lb cheese-steak challenge looked pretty cool/difficult, 4lb of beef has got to clog up anyone's guts!
