fuck no. Clyde Drexler is the best blazer of all time!

That was the Junior Division at a regional show....not the freaking NPC Nationals. You're paying 300 dollars just to enter so if you're going to fork out that kind of money then you better stand a chance.
I would give you some advice but I don't know what you look like other than green with warts and lives under a bridge ;D

Wouldn't waste my time as I would get destroyed literally on stage. A lot of great competitors that paid 300 dollars don't even get to the stage floor. Its not hard to qualify, but to even get on stage is a task/
The regional shows are great for paying your dues and etc but when it comes to the Nationals, its a different ballgame.
I did the smart thing and kept bodybuilding as a hobby of mine and branched it off into my own business ventures.

Sounds as if you made need like a $1000.00 to get a card,,,inflation

The only chance I would have to become an IFBB pro is to compete at the Team Universe as you would only have to do an NPC event to qualify. At least I would be able to get my foot in the door before it was slammed shut on it although I've made a number of improvements offseason. But there's only so far a natural bodybuilder can go
As far as the amount needed, you better think the minimum $5,000 dollars at least with the amount of drugs, travel expenses, hotel accomodations, etc. My last show I did was the least amount I ever spent. I spent about $800 dollars total.
Doesn't mean not to compete but at the same time you have to know what you're capable of. Look at Layne Norton...infinitely smarter than most diet gurus out there and can literally come in peeled to the bone. However because of genetics, he's never won an WNBF pro card or an NGA/OCB professional title. But he's making a ton of cash and he's well adapted for powerlifting.
I'm actually considered doing some MMA because of my long reach. Maybe I'll get to fight Guy Grundy or Derek and beat some sense into those two.... ;D

I think you should try it man, then Ron might give you Blue stars :o

I not going to do a show simply for Ron to possibly give me any blue stars. I've already done 4 so I don't think it would make a difference. I honestly don't think Ron likes me but then again I have a huge line of people who don't.......bullocks... ;D

I think MMA might be the right direction for you to go. You are well built for that particular sport and have all the tools.
I say you try out for the Ultimate Fighter, get on the shows and let the world see what gifts you have.
Kimbo has been doing just that and he has gotten so much publicity.
