Glad to see BSN and other sponsors jumping on the Rx muscle bandwagon. Their videos are unbelievably better than MD which I find incredible to believe given the discrepancy in sponsors and advertising between the two sites.
Shawn Ray has the personality and insight of a standard door frame. Flex wheeler can barely string 2 sentences together. I didn't think Palumbo/Romano leaving MD would have an effect but despite the fact that they look and act like total douches they are way more interesting to watch then Ray et al.
Training videos on MD is like watching paint dry. I can only imagine how good Rx would be if they could film even 10% of the "athletes" signed with MD.

X2 Nice to see them do something thats not the same ole shit as the other sites.

the are doing a 100% better job with the videos while having 1/10th of the budget.

X2 they even had Goodrum and Billy Guns on the site now thats watching a budget for sure.

It's ridiculous that they can't even interview the winner of the contest bc he is signed with MD?
I understand why an MD "athlete" couldn't do a photoshoot or training video with Rx but not even an interview?
Way to promote the "sport"
Imagine Tony Romo refusing to do an interview with Jim Nantz (CBS) bc the NFC is on Fox.
Brutal marketing of bodybuilding.
By the way outstanding choice of adding Mark Alvisi to your coverage ... he makes George Farah seem like George Clooney.

If you're going to replace Dave and John at least get a couple of guys with a few brain cells between them.

liked their Sally article, if that is the same site, RX Muscle

I like RX Muscle a lot, I think Dave and John provide very good Nationals coverage here:
http://www.rxmuscle.com/videos/c-interviews/981-final-wrapup-of-the-2009-npc-nationals-with-dave-palumbo-and-john-romano.html
Although I don't agree with the criticism of Shawn Ray. I think he is an effective speaker and has good knowledge, but I do agree that Palumbo's commentary is better. RX Muscle has definitely impressed me.

Palumbo is very enthusiastic, too enthusiastic, when he was over at MD, he asked too many guys to show their glutes, especially Fankhouser.

That's true, but for every person on getbig who complained about it, I would think there were probably five people who wanted to see it. If people really didn't want to see it, MD would have stopped presenting that type of content. My guess is they just gave in to market demand.

Ray has knowledge and is opinionated but, he is under strict control by that creep Blechman.
At least Romano and Palumbo can basically say it how it is.
Best line:
Palumbo "I wonder what Banks (lee) is thinking"
Romano " Ask him in 3 days" (contract with MD Expires) lol....
That pretty much sums up what is going on over at MD.
Can't wait to see the Brewer/MD videos sans Palumbo....SNOOZE FEST!

The thing that sux is there is not enough people on rx and even getbig. MD has like a post every half an hour. Its dead. Some bodybuilding boards should merge lol
-
Dave has a much more likable personality than Shawn. Dave cares about other people and it show. Shawn's personality seems to polarize people. Either you hate him or you dislike him.
Blechman also needs some public relations help. To the fans he comes across as a rich cheapskate who hires and fires people at will. Trey Brewer does an in the trenches on RX, so Blechman hires him to put an end to that. IMO this was a childish move and not very bright considering Trey's placing at the Nats.

Damn. Good post. That's right. He'll sing whoever he can to keep them AWAY from Dave and Rx. I am positive LunchTrey doing a video with Rx was pretty much the biggest reason why he signed him to a exclusive contract.
At the end of the day the joke is on Gluteman. LunchTrey proved to be a BUST developing early signs of Palumboism. He is pretty much the laughing stock of the industry. True story.
- Block!

I like both videos, seems like Dave is more "personal" and funny with the guys and with Shawn Ray it seems more "professional".

exactly, epic massive self outing.

I like RxMuscle a lot, but it was much funnier in the beginning.
They had a few Blechman Gluteman threads there that were hilarious.
The Gluteman photoshop into the Spiderman costume was awesome, I wish I saved that photo.
I think their radio shows are top notch as well.
Offtopic is a lot of fun and I like the ladies on muscle girls inc.
The Mods need to be a little more light handed and it would be a top notch site.
They banned Block twice, how bad could it be ;D
