If you report yours lost/stolen, and they issue you a new one, can you carry your gun while they are issuing you your new card? my wallet was stolen 4 months ago, i reported my LTC stolen, and still i havent recieved my card. The sergeant at the PD said i cant carryu a gun till my card arrive, is that true??

it depends what state you are in, but if you are in texas you can not. you must be able to show a CHL with your DL.
also if thats you in you avatar i dont recomend "packing" until you get your new card ;D

aight cool thanks man. thats a stupid law IMO... my name is still registered as someone with a permit to carry, so who the fuck cares if the actual LTC i slost or stolen, they shouldnt be able to take you "right" away from you...

yea wait till you get ur card, similar thing happened to a guy in my town. The cops didn't care, they just saw he had a gun and was black. The rest is history.

Lot's of crazy peeps out to get you when you're a stay at home dad, surfing porn all day, while the wifey is bringing home the bacon.
When he use to post pics of himself holding his glock with 3 clips rubber band together while wearing a bulletproof vest and mean mugging the camera, I knew he was the real deal :P

Hey thanks man. I checked with the PD, an it seems for the past 2 months the status has been " Approved by FRB (sp? ... i think something like Firearm Review Board)". it seems they approved a new card to be sent to me but i dont know if the card was lost 'in mail'? or if there is a waiting period for the cards to get printed/shipped?

Check your State's home page..usually a lot of info/question/answer apps.

hmmm... yeah i guess its my fault i parked my car in a parking lot. and when i bought the car, i should've asked the dealership for bulletproof windows for my car i suppose... ::)
