It's just a way to celebrate the pilgrims fucking over and kiling the Indians, thus we now have this beautiful county.  Althought our karma...Mexicans!

I guess our Australia Day is a kinda similar holiday. We celebrate crushing the aboriginal race and creating the country we now have.

In Britain we have a thing called Guyfawkes night where we celebrate the painfull death of Catholics.
Funny thing is most Catholics join in without realising that this is it's origins.
