AWESOME! Boyer reached his peak in one of the most kick ass eras in bodybuilding physique wise in my opinion. The physiques of guys like Boyer Coe were athletic looking and with a little steroids many average joes could look like him. Very inspirational. Hardly anyone can look like Ronnie or Levrone without the genetics. Dorian? Always looked like a bucket of smashed assholes. Most overrated Bber EVER!

It is one of your screen caps, actually. :) The most impressive thing about Dorian's 96 form was the size of his waist - he brought it way down. He is dwarfing Ray, and yet his waist is barely larger. I think the "freakiest" front relaxed I have seen is Dorian in 97. Here are the 2 pics again. Here is also a video of Dorian in one of the 96 Gran Prixs...he was great that year.

I remember reading about him intending to "crush" Frank Zane, who when asked what was his favorite bodybuilding moment on ABC Sports said "When I beat Arnold for the 1968 Mr. Universe in Florida". Arnie never forgave him, and in 1980 "out-Zaned Frank Zane" and came in SHREDDED but with more muscle than Zane could ever build.

Yea man - Yates was unreal @ that point in time - then Ronnie came along and raised the bar. and kept raising it. We will not see it duplicated.
You have to really respect Yates - he pushed his genetic limit to the end - tearing muscles to get there. His body could go no further. Gonnie just got dealy more in the genetic deck of cards and used them all also - pushed it to the limit..
