The latest plan for health care is to allow people 55-65 to buy in to Medicare and put about 6 million people on to Medicaid.
1. Medicare currently has 34 Trillion in unfunded liabilities.
2. Last year alone, the govt paid $50 Billion in fraudulent claims on medicare.
3. There still are massive tax increases and individual mandates.
4. No cost controls.
5. Your state taxes are going to skyrocket since the States pay 1/2 of Medicaid costs.
6. Many doctors lose money on Medicare patients.
7. To finance this plan, they are cutting Medicare by $500 Billion Dollars. So they are adding millions to a system they are cutting by $500 Billion?

No,they are PURPOSELY trying to wreck America and controll our lives.They dsont care whats in the bill.Get it signed and then morff into anything they want.The goal is to dictate how we eat,what cars we drive,what sports our kids play etc etc.

333 let me ask you. do you truly believe in democracy? Or do you believe in democracy as long as it is agreeable to you?
I find it hard you would actually say democracy in first form because the following has happened. A majority voted in a liberal president. A majority voted for him and his platform which included health care reform. This is healthcare reform. Medicare is a hugely popular program with both left and right leaning seniors, republicans have tried for years to get rid of it but it would be political suicide because, get this, A MAJORITY OF PEOPLE LIKE IT. The government is an extension of the majority of people.
You can cry on getbig all you want but face it. You are not a supporter of democracy in the slightest. You are a supporter of yourself and your interests alone.

We do not live in a democracy to begin with, we have a Federal Republic. Just because 50% want to vote away everyone's money and wealth does not make it ok.
Medicare is already 34 Trillion dollars in the hole? Do you even comprehend the magnitude of that number in relation to our GDP?

I would say a majority voted out George Bush is a more accurate statement. Obama just happened to be there, and people didn't really understand what they were getting.

Second, what 333 is saying has nothing to do with the government being an extension of the people or if the majority of the country would have voted for Obama if they knew what he was up to. The fact of the matter is that THE PLAN MAKES NO FUCKING SENSE. How can you finance a healthcare bill that add's several million people to a program that is practically bankrupt while simeltaneously cutting 500 billion dollars from the same plan!?

I'm confused at what KC is saying.
His argument is that we should do whatever the majority wants. Yet, when the majority VOTES against certain issues like gay marriage, ending welfare to illegals, etc, he and the left are the first ones racing to court to get a Federal Judge to overturn the will of the voters.
Also - KC, if 51% voted for transferring the wealth of the other 49% to the, is that ok with you?
As far as this "health care plan", its sheer madness. Its reckless and simply adding more people into the Titanic.

First of all we live in a deomcratic republic, not a pure democracy, it would do you some good to know the difference. How the hell can the majority of the people like it? I was unaware that the majority of this country was 65 and over. How can you like something if you are not even on the program?
People may have wanted healthcare reform, they did not ask for a government take over. They keep saying their has to be competition in the market when its their own rules and regulations that prevent the very competition they scream for.
There is this document called the US constitution and it outlines what the federal goverment can and can't do, if you think its fine for the POTUS and congress to wipe their ass with it, then you better take a long hard look at yourself, because thats about as un-American as it gets.
I bet atleast 90% of this piece of carp they call a healthcare bill is completely unconstitutional.

I'm super glad i live in Lyon France. i see zero improvement in that healthcare bill without the public option. The United states of America doesn't want to be like other Great nations in the EU.
I starting to think that if i was still living in America and not in Lyon France, i would join the Green party..

The Great EU? The only country that is capable of defending itself is Great Britan.
Oh and by the way I can get you really good deal on French military rifles, never fired and only dropped once.
