so, i think i may have had a change of heart given that i looked at the weather in LV today then i looked at the weather in Miami
so GB, tell me about Miami?
how much will it cost?
how stuck up are the broads?
what is the hot chick to ugly chick ratio (I can already see the "clever" edits on that one ::))?
anything else
-
also, I really liked vegas because I know that i could make a killing stripping there but maybe I can make a killing in Miami as well- yes? no?
furthermore, while i can appreciate a good looking Spainish girl, i'm really into the all american type- are they aplenty in Miami? Because I know that that type is aplenty in LV

Rob, Mike/ Laura and Steve N. are your Florida Getbiggers. Maybe delta, too.

Big Mal knows Miami i think.

yep
i'm wondering if they are familiar with the Miami scene because Miami to the rest of Florida is kinda like what NYC is to the rest of NY

Big_Mal is Bi-Coastal. And, isn't Bangbros out of Miami? If so there is your answer on the chicks. Basicall, hot chicks flock to the "it" town, which was LV, but then there was the economy meltdown. I've since heard that there was a "mass migration" back to the hotspots of LA, Miami, NYC, and Hotlanta (also known for it's gay and undercover brotha scene).

Maybe it's Mals sister who lives in Miami, i know they had a party around those parts.
Either way, i assume Mal visits Miami alot, so should know quite a lot of things.

come to think of it, Mal does look ALOT like Anton, the dude who dated dexter's sister in season's 3 and 4 of "Dexter"

I stay in south beach last year during the election... nice place...
probably considered a party place with loads of gays but it was honestly tamer and less gay than sydney imo but that ain't hard to achieve.

You don't make enough money to live a happy life there. Trainers and such are a cent a dozen and make no money

i don't think most of my money will be made from training. Fact of the matter it would take a good two years to build the clientele to even start to support myself from PT....and that isn't only in Miami- that's everywhere
how about living in the outskirts with the hatians?- i'm pretty good with a knife

I only know of south beach, I'm sure you could find adequate living in the general vicinity. You have nothing to lose, you're in upstate NY now, and even if it doesn't work out, you're young right? Go. I told you to move to Miami last year, it was the best fit out of all the cities you proposed. get a job at one of the hotels on Collins or bartend. It's epic there and it fits your lifestyle.

each man face the dead by himself, alone.

i just realized in re-reading this thread how dumb it is on my part
fact of this matter is that instead of asking if it would be a good place to move, I should just do it (much like body88 alluded to)
sorry, vegas- i'll visit but unless Gina carano is waiting for me with her legs open, I'm Miami bound
-
Been to Miami a few times, hot spanish bitches there for sure. Traffic is really not that bad compared to say Atlanta or L.A....Job competion is bad due to the influx of immigrants and such...and if you drugs there are plenty

True story. I was in Toronto a few weeks ago, and was waiting for the lights down by Harbourfront. Heard a distinct engine rev and looked over to see a Lambo waiting for the light off the expressway. Kind of a maroon colour, with tinted windows and I think it had a vanity plate, but it had that tinted cover on it so I couldn't read it. Watched it go up Lower Simcoe in 1st, maybe 2nd, and I think it turned into the back the Air Canada Center. Serious machinery.

Did the vanity plate read " manties " ?
I seen one in everyday traffic bright yellow hard to miss , everyone and their brother taking cell phone pics .

ROFL. No, I didn't catch it. But a car like that from mantie sales!? Those best be soiled, and well past their sell-by date to get a car like that. ;D

i had a buddy that lived there for a few years, he said he felt like a minority (he's as white as a ghost) but liked it other than that

I know the area well. Whenever the ACC has a Raptor game, the traffic is chock-a-block with Hummers and Escalades. (no racist) ;D

Miami- women are very very hot. It is extremely expensive, non-stop party. Also, twinks of questionable orientation are a dime a dozen....
-
When I was in South Beach there a homeless guy with no arms who wanted to fight me because I didn't give him any money. Gay watching was funny. I was with my wife so I couldn't really do the single guy thing. Nice looking women all over the place. Beach wasn't as nice as I had expected. Takes a bunch of money to really live the life though. You would fit in well down there JNN.

You don't want to be broke over there. Vegas is a better choice.

Lived in Miami this past summer. Was in Doral for a while (past the airport) then moved to SoBE - Lincoln and Collins, in a high rise right on the beach. The fun there never stops - 24/7. It gets a little relentless after a while.
Doral is good for families. Singles want to live in South Beach or Brickell (down town). Maybe in Coral Gables. Most of the rentals are condos (not too many apartment buildings) and it takes 2-3 week to move in because you have to be approved by the condo board - it like a 5-10 page application with lots of references required. Also need 4 months rent up front (first, last, security, and another months rent for the condo security deposit). Better hope your rental doesn't go into forclosure. A lot of the buildings I looked at were basically empty because of all the forclosures, especially in Brickell. Rentals go for $1800-2000 a month for 700-800 square foot 1 bedroom. Not very cheap.
The traffic is terrible. Bumper to bumber all the time, crazy South American drivers make their own rules. Has the most expensive car insurance in the USA as a result. No parking places open any where and you have to pay to park every where. This was in the summer -off season. Gotta be worse in the winter.
Way too hot in the summer, its brutal.
That being said, Miami has the hottest women in the Country by far. I used to think NYC had good looking women. Does not even compare to Miami. Every where you look. And friendly. The beach is like a fantasy land.
Thanks for the info, for sure this place has its price, 8)
