What do you put in your oatmeal to give it some flavor and make it taste better?

pre workout i like 2 scoops vanilla protein powder, cinnomon, and berries

I tried it with strawberry jam once  :-\ didn't quite work for me.

I buy it at Starbucks when I'm on the road. That and a banana chocolate Vivanno.


The oatmeal has brown sugar, dried fruit and chopped almonds. The Vivanno is basically a whey protein shake.


At home, its just plain Oatmeal. Nothing else.

frozen berries from walmart. 

WHen you pour in the hot water, the berries melt nicely.

I use cranberries or golden raisins with fruit preserve or coffee creamer. I know coffee creamer sounds odd but sometimes you are in the mood for "Marshmallow Mocha" oatmeal.

The others all had good suggestions.  When not putting it in my shake, I just add some Ovaltine to it to add some flavor.

try it with honey, walnuts or almonds, raisins,and bananas..u will be energized for the day and your workouts will be tremendous

Peanut butter,cinnamon,apple sauce and raisins then bake em' into cookies.All gloppy in a bowl looks fucking gross! :-X

Vanilla flavored protein powder mixed with 1% Milk
Sliced Almonds
Cinnamon

Some times the above plus Raisins, Flaxseeds and Sesame seeds.

One cup oats, Vanilla protein, almond butter, frozen blueberries, water.   Blend and drink.
