Title: AMI connection to Tiger conspiracy
Post by: Tre on December 18, 2009, 08:51:40 AM

Listening to the Herd this morning...

Apparently, the National Enquirer was prepared to run a story with pictures on Tiger cheating back in 2007. When his people found out about it, they said they'd grant an exclusive interview plus a cover on another of AMI's titles and that's how Tiger ended up on the cover of Men's Fitness.

A former executive with AMI has corroborated the story.

not sure i buy that.  they would sell a fuck load more issues of the NE with the cheating tiger story than they did of the Men's Fitness mag.  plus, the Tiger cheating story has "legs."

lol @ legs

If NE was the money-maker for the company back then and Men's Fitness was failing, I could see them accepting the trade offer in order to boost interest in that magazine.  I don't know anyone who reads Men's Fitness, yet it's on the shelves every month.  Maybe women buy it.

Myth.

I swear that it's getting smaller as I get older.  I want my fucking rod back!!

The Tiger story will continue to have legs....  until Palumbo starts training it.
