Hard to say since that has never happened ;), but I'd theorize that it's kind of hard not to take sexual rejection personally. There's always going to be part of you that adopts a bad attitude to it, and not wanting sex with a partner (in similar situations where sex was fine in the past) is a pretty good indication of bigger problems.
