i met u when u were in ct at the seminar. i got one of your species shaker cups-it looks really cool
except it has this little tiny hinge on the lid and if u dont hold it down then when u shake the shake the liquid goes flying everywhere

plastic degrades to some degree in water. So youre probably ingesting some plastic molecules everytime you drink out of a plastic bottle ;D the good news is that that plastic that water bottles are made out of does not easily degrade... it just fills up our landfills where it stays for eternity ;)

im not talking about the lid or spout..that stayed on...its this tiny little hinge on the corner of the lid...even if u put dry powder in your shaker and have it in your bag the lid will leak...the little hinge wont stay down...the hinge is the size of my pinky finger nail.

Use one of these. They're great. They stay airtight for about 70 uses, and they're free. Leave the lid off when you're done or it will stretch.

pet bottles also degrade with heat. look up the SODIS project. Im guessing chemicals in your system is better then infected water.

I still have 2 or 3 of thme that I used to this day!

If thats your concern, I wouldnt be worrying about the 10 seconds your protein shake is in there...I would be WAY more concerned with the days/ weeks...Coke, Milk, bottled water, etc. that you consume on a daily basis...is sitting in the container.

I think it depends on the plastic. I would think the plastic used for those shaker cups is a cheaper grade and probably more dangerous.
10 seconds , nah, hardcore lifters bring their drinks to the gym and sip them throughout the workout , so it could be in there from anywere from a half hour to 2 hours. I think Milos recommended to do this, sip the protein during the workout. or drink some before and some after the workout.
