How about who ever squats 315 for the most reps gets a prize? A year supply of chalk perhaps? ;D I got 19 today going for 25 next week.

No. I've never done squats with bands because I don't have a monolift in my gym. I just don't feel comfortable doing them in a regular power rack.

2 things I find very funny about this vid:
1) Chap is wearing a Westside Barbell shirt. They are the strongest gym in the world. Best powerlifting coaches in the world and best training methods. YET he does some silly DC routine which is TOTALLY ANTI anything Westside Barbell teaches.
2) Wearing an industrial strength belt and knee wraps for a 20 rep set! ;D
Save the lifting gear for a 1 rep max.

Solid, deep reps with some good weight. Can't complain.

Deep?Hes not even going parallel and hes using knee wraps which can add 50lbs to your squat, i can do 315 with no belt or wraps for 20, but the lead that connects my camera to PC is broken and the store had ran out when i went to buy a replacement.Therefore i cant post the vid

I don't use knee wraps, but probably should. I've done 315 for 25. My lack of cardio fitness has kept me from going higher.

On his first set with the heavier weight he actually goes below parallel however on the second set with 315 you're right he's about a inch or two above. My knees used to hurt when I used a regular olympic stance but once I started box squatting it went away. Now I can do either one with no problems.

Perfect example of why you should never use a spotter while squatting their needed as much as pussy is needed to a f a g.... why did this idiot squat outside the squat rack?, i guess him and his master squat spotter hand no need for the rack pins ::)

And that is why I only trust a few people in the gym to spot me. I wouldn't care if it's my max out day or not during a peaking cycle etc....if I can't find someone that I highly trust to spot me with a max weight, I won't do the lift. Or I'll back off a bit and do an extra rep with lighter weight.
