These special deals should absolutely be unconstitutional. The public should be outraged at this. Federal funds diverted to Nebraska to fund medicaid expansion...which is a state responsibility. Why is this not illegal?

We should outlaw this shit for all administrations. Once a bill is on the table for a vote, there should be no sweatheart deals or pork added. Ammend the bill to get it passed or drop it. This administration seems particularly bad...but this isn't new.

Well,tell me when the Republicans EVER EVER EVER put into a bill that it can never be repealed ever.Please tell me when they ever tried to do this as the democrats did with a section in the health care bill.I will be waiting for your answer.Also,please tell me where in the constitution that there is a provision to put something like that into a bill.

It's being done and it's wrong. I still can't see how we're going to pay for all these perks plus the healthcare bill when we're flat broke as it is. I really hope in the next election that these congress people are held accountable for their actions.

It's not my fault that MY PARTY, the repubs, spent like drunken sailors, let 911 happen, lied about WMD and basically decided to kill the middle class.
They lost my vote in 2008. They put up a senile mccain and an aill-prepared Palin, who both told us the Bailout Bill was a great idea. They also said they'd keep the bush economic policy in place - a very shitty idea guys.
So please please please stop assigning Obama credit to me. Look at it like this... I don't care if my neighbors' yard (dem party)looks like shit. I care about MY OWN yard (repub party). 240, The SOFA agreement can be canceled (made void) after 12 months, by either party.
What Reid and all the Democrats are doing is trying to pass a new law, that could never be repealed. (never undone)
