Lombardi's is a great place. Claims to be the first pizza joint in America but also they use a brick oven. Delic.
This is a good site

Also go to Juniors and have some cheescake. Awesome stuff. If you like Indian food go to Brick Lane, they have some spicy food there.
Of course get a mango's hot dog. Or a vienna dog from a cart.

NY pizza is over rated, same thin crush pizza you can get anywhere else

Juniors is a dump that is just living on its' name, go to Cake Man Raven and get some Red Velvet cake.

They have a couple of Grimaldi's in Phoenix. Damn good pizza....

Get a Shawarma at Mamoun's on MacDougal off West 3rd St. You won't be disappointed. The best Philly Cheesesteak place is Carl's on 34th and 3rd. Hill Country on 26th bet bway and 6th has killer Texas bbq.
The best pizza I've had in awhile was at the place on n7th st. and Bedford in Williamsburg. Their combo slices are amazing. I had the chicken n broccoli.

Don't they call it "pie"?

I'd have to disagree BIG TIME. Been there twice, never had anything like it. Didn't matter where we got it either. More curious if there's any bad pizza in NY.

MY MOM ...goes to arther ave once a month to stock up,old school and not as played out as "little italy"

this place called Guardini in the cobble hill area in booklyn.
take the F train (downtown) and get off on the carroll street stop
-
Grimaldis (in Brooklyn), Totonnos, or any number of good Brick Oven places if that's your thing.
For regular-style, Joe's on Bleecker in the West Village, and Pizza Suprema by Penn Station. IMO, Ray's has gone way downhill.
While you're in NYC, get a great burger at Corner Bistro in the West Village or JG Melon around 74th Street on the UES.

What about that Spamoni Garden place on man vs. food (brooklyn)
