Joel Thomas, the 2009 NPC All South Championships overall winner. Proportionality, symmetry. But to compete at the national level, he'll have to up the dose, become blocky and bloated.
-
.
-
Looks fantastic!!!
Let`s hope he doesn`t wreck a great physique.
-
That's another guy who deserves a pro card more than Peter Putnam.
-
X1000
-
yeah, that dude could sell some BBing magazines.
-
2nd pic looks like Johnny Falcon, but you can see he does have a blocky type of physique... Check the waist and lats as proof . He looks good at that weight.
-
how tall ?
-
great lines.

DONīT USE TONS OF DRUGS, MAYBE 1500 MG AWEEK. COULDīNT GET HIS WATER RIGHT OR ITīS NONE OR THE WRONG DIURETIC. IN 3-4 YEARS SOME SUPERGURU WILL TURN HIM INTO A MONSTER THAT LOOKS LIKE A RETARD WITH THEIR DEFORMED HEADS. GREAT BEFORE PIC.

how about bodybuilding shouldn't be about how grainy your skin looks.
and notice how his chest doesn't disappear when he does a double bicep, unlike lots of top amateurs today. maybe this is why.

Tim, do you think that guy has "said no to hgh"?
I'd say about 10iu Chinese growth for a few months at least.
-
Looks excellent - calves and quads are especially good.
Lats could do with bringing up though if he's to do some damage at national level.
-
Tim, do you think that guy has "said no to hgh"?
It's likely he's done some, but not the huge doses that most at the national level do. Its the insulin with the gh that causes the blocky and bloated look.
if americans could just get a good source of dbol...

OK Tim, why do the pros do it?
It's because the judges at the pro level seem to like it.
I won the NABBA Mr Scotland in early 1980's more than once (Big Al is a nickname, my real initals are AW and I run a gym in Paisley Scotland where Fatpanda gained his certificate although he doesn't know this until now. My Dad AW senior was also Mr Scotland) . I took 4 dianabol tabs and a shot of test every 2 weeks throughout the year. I spoke to Ed Kawak at the 82 Scottish when he was NABBA Universe and WABBA World champion and he told me he took 6 dbols and a shot of Test even week.
It is the judges we have to blame for the state of the "sport"
yes. they say they don't want abuse to occur; yet they reward the side effects of high dose abuse.
-
Finally some reality...
-
He looks GOOD!

What happened to Kawak anyway?

myself did a very similar type of cycle ... heaviest i ever did 250mg enanthate every 8-9 days and at the front end no more than 2-4 ananbol a day for the first three weeks. Grew like a weed and after finishing the 10-12 wks (can't remember exactly how long) kept virtually all of it while I kept training (after about 14 months went overseas for four years and didn't train at all so lost it then). Why people take shitloads if gear I'll never know. No side effects except heaps of muscle growth, strength and felt great. Bloodwork pretty much perfect during and after.

Genetics have a lot to do with it also. I mean as far as how fast the sides come on. Some can stay tight even with plenty of insulin and gh. Look at Milos. Look at Steve Namat. They look(ed) pretty tight.
And what do you mean by, "if americans could just get a good source of dbol..."? Sure, it's possible there's differences between generics but make no mistake, there's probably hundreds of kilos of "real" methandrostenolone consumed by Americans each year. It's around, in mass quantities.
-
Like I always said judges are to blame the way bodybuilders look this days. If judges send out clear message that blocky bloated physices are not accepted anymore then slowly over time things would change. IN order for that to work no one should be exempt from the rule, no matter how famous they are in the sport. Then and only then it will be taken seriously.
-

Milos is a different generation, by the time insulin was being used with gh Milos was already in his mid 30s. and Namat is not the example to be holding up. IMO, he's showing the signs of blockyness and protruding stomach of gh and insulin. Namat and Thomas are the same age. Namat is a pro, Thomas is not, but I'd take Thomas' physique (in both meanings of the word) over Namat's any day.

That's what a pro should look like.. I've always said all pro's looked the best right when they turned pro (meaning won pro card) they always got shittier looking after with that extra 20-40lbs.

But if you were a judge at a show would you place this guy above Jay Cutler? Would you really? How would you justify it, by saying Cutler is too big and that this guy looks "better"? If bb was judged by this type of subjective standard then it would remove the competitive aspect from it even more because more mass and more cuts wouldn't improve your chances. And what if another judge thought even this guy is too big and that a guy closer to Zane's size was more "ideal"? Lots of people would say Steve Reeves was the ultimate in size and cuts and proportions and any bigger and more cut is ugly. Maybe it should've stopped there.

yes in combination with too fast growth in general and not building a foundation..very very important to grow yourself in stages

truth in what you write but same as growth respons is different so is variabtility of side effects

yes in many cases physique getrs worse aftre turning pro..just look at kamali for example (his max comp weight should never be more than 230)..many cases they try to out grow their frame. dennis james also ruined his physique ..was very very good when he won his pro card..then should slowly just added alittle mass on his weak points.

i believe that some people can be 260 and be amazing bodybuilders..some guys can also get to 260lbs level but they shouldnt...its also a question of how you get there..how many years do you take in getting their..this is the biggest difference between 90s mass monsters and mass monsters in this day and age...90s had foundation. 00s = no foundation : too big too young

To me (and from what I understand the original concept) bodybuilding is about aesthetics, size should always play second to proper balance, symmetry, proportions..I don't know if I would place him higher then Jay, but I've always considered the 80's physiques to be the height of bodybuilding, it's gotten ridiculous now..those guys had wasp waists..not the bloated distended markus ruhl's we see today.
-
Hes looks badass. Basically thats my ideal body right there. I wouldnt want to be any bigger. How tall is he and whats he weigh?

for bodybuilding, he competed as a heavyweight. in the powerlifting video it was the 220 lbs weight class. in the video he appears a bit below average in height.
-
awesome physique but his hair would struggle to make top 10 at the Nationals
-
Damn, dude is solid. Props.
