Jay seems to be keeping his size for personal appearances but do you think he will compete or retire in '10?
-
he has no reason to retire
the man is at the peak of his career, physique and popularity wise
-
he has announced he'll do the O again in 2010.
-
he wants to be a dominant mr.o pick up 6 of them like dorian
-
If he was SMART, he would retire while he is ahead of the game. He seemingly is healthy and has nothing to prove anymore? How many Mr. O's does he need to win?
He could make tons of money JUST doing appearances and promoting bullshit products... but instead, like many great pro bodybuilders- Dorian, Ronnie, he will keep competing past his prime and eventually show up on stage looking like crap or fawk up his health...

well he hasnt been rushed to the hospital, he isnt on dialysis, and hasnt been publicly outted for any other kind of medical problems... he doesnt look like Dave Palumbo or Luke Wood... so, I believe he is "relatively" healthy for a pro bodybuilder at this point. but this will all change if he keeps it up

I think he just hit his prime and should ride it just a couple more years. I always thought he was highly over rated before this year. I had to give him his credit this year.

I agree. He only one in combination of him peaking better than he has in years and perhaps better than he ever has AND other competitors coming in off. It's not as if he would have been as dominant had Phil, Kai, and Wolf come into the contest in their best shape. Food for thought for Jay.

As much as I dont like Jay, he would have handled all those guys even if they were 100% spot on. The way he looked it didnt matter. Dex and Branch were at their best. When do all the top guys ever show up in shape all at the same time anyway? Jay has got a pretty good shot of getting atleast 4 Os if he does another couple years.

he has announced he'll do the O again in 2010.
He is the first man to regain the Olympia title. If he is not careful he could become the first man to lose the title twice. He should retire on top.

No kidding, never thought of that. Dont think,if that happened, that it would be mentioned. Losing is a part of all sports even a fakeass joke of a sport like bodybuilding. I love it though
-
I wish he surprises us all and do the Arnold Classic ;)

I heard it on CNN last night.

High IQ guy would not make this mistake. Fake intellect, bro?

it was in my local newspaper too

jay is keeping his calender clear so he can brush his teeth every 2 hours and wear really bad clothes
-
;)Yes he will be back

Jay is in good health for what he is doing. taking amounts of drugs and doing like tanning every day. He should have already cancers.
I think he wants to beat Ronnie records.

the cancer thing was a bit much ??we're talking future health down the road.not now.he looks great and should go further for few more, but who knows in 5/10 yrs.

He looked better at the last O than he has in years, probably since 2003-2004. Talk about a guy who fucked up his lines, symmetry, proportions. And still manages to regain his title, rightfully even (Dex could have won also IMHO, but judges went for the mass/conditioning combo clearly by even putting Branch in second place). Shows how terrible the competition is right now (and has been for the past 10 years almost). I can see him winning another one as the only competitors right now who could be a threat are Dex ( great physique, almost no flaws but not getting any younger also and probably the dullest rep for the sport, Ronnie sounds like a rocket scientist compared to him) and Kai (if he brings his game up a bit and by some miracle erases the souvenir of him abusing a defenseless grapefruit). Branch can't do any better than what he's done this year, Victor and Wolf are MIA and Heath is overhyped (the guy is as narrow as a nun's #### FFS).

Losing the Olympia title doesn't happen often. In 45 years it has only happened five times. Sergio lost to Arnold in 1970, Zane lost to Arnold in 1980, Bannout lost to Haney in 1984, Ronnie lost to Jay in 2006 and Jay lost to Dexter in 2008.

6 times as you have to include Dex losing to Jay in '09.

I stand corrected.

I would love to know how much meds he takes for keep his health !! I hope he 'll keep wining and show better physique every year.

Exactly. More importantly he's not old. He can still win a couple more "O"'s and make more money.
-
If Jay comes in like he did last and even a touch more shredded there is no one to touch him except Dex, but Dex is gettin up there in the years. In the next few years your going to see some battles for the O between Jay and Phil. I think Jay will win 2 more O's and then call it quits.

Espn will have the official press conference on that issue tomorrow at 5pm et.
