Well I like to listen to Alternative/Indie Rock, but that is not always good for cardio. Looking for some stuff more upbeat like hip hop and quality rap. You know, faster beats.

if i am on the treadmill, i just read the close captioning on the tv's...my gym has a tv on every piece of cardio equipment....
....if i am doing outdoor cardio...which i usually do.....i rarely listen to anything....just kinda escape in my own mind....cardio is great for depression, anxiety, and just clearing your mind....no need to let music ruin that...

I agree with you for outdoor cardio, no music needed, but when doing indoor cardio it really helps me, and I don't like tv that much.

If your a healthy individual there is no sense in doing these 1+ hour long slow paced walking cardio sessions you se pro bodybuilders do.
Get some fast paced trance/techno and do HIT. 25 minutes and you're done. you'll be done much faster and you'll work you cardiovascular system.
