Waste...if you wanted to do an "information" campain that creates controversy so you can get some recognition they should have put out a detailed and instructive flyer on how to correctly use different methods of birth control. Condoms ..both male & Female version.
It could possibly save tax payers money on welfare cost since teenage population had an significant increase in prego's this last year.
Though hard drug users cost us lots of money as well. Hospital bills, city "group" programs, insurance claims on business and personal property they destroyed while robbing the place to pay for the habit. Not to mention the cost of forcing our LE Officers to work manditory overtime dealing with them. 60%+ of shit cops deal with has a tie to hard drugs in one way or another...and that could be on the low end.

Coach, you may have it nice somewhere out in suburbia while you sit at home watching your 'Soapy studs' but for us who live in NYC (poor or rich) this is a good idea...but continue on with your Soapy studs..... :-*

I know I'm not brightest but did I just read that you just came from church???

i'm surprised they printed those in the united states but in countries where health care is basically free they provide info for junkies because it saves the taxpayers money long term...
cheaper to give out needles than have to pay for loads of people with HIV from dirty ones.

To play devils advocate, there are probably police officers and health officials who need to know this info to recognize users and those about to use. Plus a lot of the book is about how to deal with OD's and HIV users. Really, how many 22 year old fresh-from-college healthcare workers are going to know the diff between a person shooting H and injecting insulin for diabetes. If you're going to have the power to take away ppl's kids, etc, you need to know what drug use looks like.

I agree..though I would love for the Gov't to deny welfare and any type of medical treatment for those on drugs. They are made the choice to ruin their life and die early...why take that from them when those funds can go to other constructive things that better society as a whole...ie- better education system

Definitely our country will never refuse people from having medical attention. It's unethical

There are a lot of things the US doesn't do because of their "ethics" (or should we say christian faith) that contribute to the ruin of this country.
I like that other countries put certain types to death because they are deemed a waste of society resources..murderers, rapist, child molesters killed so as not to tap the average cost of $40k per year, per inmate to house them for life in jail. Caning, hard labor (best one) and tent city jails in the desert (make them miserable as hell) all good ideas.
US needs a much more SEVERE penalty for many crimes and had a much swiffer legal system.
