So for a couple months I did a workout based on trisets, giant sets and reps. Enough of that silliness. I am basing everything now on never using cables and all emphasis on power movements and heavy, way more fun. Don't know how people can do that 15 rep stuff. If anyone wants to throw some ideas my way for this power training feel free.

Always been a straight set guy wheather I am cutting or bulking. Maybe some supersets at the end of a workout if I feel like it but nothing crazy. Just what works for me. Pyramiding reps to 6-8. If you can do 15 reps you should be put more weight on the bar. Never got into the 5 sets of 5 either. I like a somewhat heavy duty aproach were I dont go to failure on the first couple sets. Just get into the feel of the movement and then go all out for 6-8 reps. Couldnt you go heavier if you go all out as opposed to choosing a weight you could do for 5 sets? Again, what works for me.
